rjohnson11 Got an email from Europe that says the price is wrong so I'll wait for new pricing Was about to ask you about that, because that would mean they value the current SLI's at about €50... That'd be utterly absurd.

When you get the email and follow the prompts the correct price is calculated when you get to the end of the procedure so this is working properly. Hopefully I was the only one affected. Dan Graves

Hello thanks for the benchmarks and showing gpuz that it can run at 3.0 speeds. I was just wondering if you've tested it under long periods of gameplay because my board ud3 x79 can run pcie 3.0 and shows in gpuz but then after a while approximately 20 min my computer crashes. So just wondering if you've tested gaming for long periods of time with 2 way sli. Thank you very much:)

Well The x79 Classy I have that was annoyingly crippled but working finally decided to stop working for gaming period. Gonna have to just upgrade to the x79 Dark or go without. IF I manage to get in line for the dark I will update you guys on how it performs. Wish me luck!

dustingg Well, this was thee easiest MB to OC and get setup. For the first time the XMP profile works to spec. OC to 4.6 with only 1.39v I've got the propper spacing for SLI, this board is SOLID!!! Looks awesome man! So glad to hear a positive response. I want everyone who uses the board to have a similar experience. A lot of time was spent on making this one right. I just did a build with one at home myself about one month ago to create a different environment for testing in a more "everyday" kind of situation like you guys are used too instead of just my crazy lab setups. Its Dark, 3970X, quad channel corsair gtx8@2400, and single GTX680. So far I love it for a daily and yep about 4.5-4.8 is the what I call the zone for good solid stability on most typical cpus.

SHEET! To sell it or keep it ... I can't make up my mind lol If there are more good forum member reviews I may just keep it ... Could this be a chance for you to win me back EVGA? I bloody hope so. Still, paying over $600 for the Dark even if it is awesome, is a kick in the pants.

Thanks Vince! For some reason I cant get a Vcore reading in windows. It show's in Eleet .094v But I know that cannot be correct. I also Don't understand why in the bios it show's the Vcore at 1.43 when I have it set at 1.39??? k|ngp|n dustingg Well, this was thee easiest MB to OC and get setup. Hey dustigg...I see your rad mounted in the top of your case. Do you exhaust out or bring air down (intake) into the case? Just curious here. For the H100, Corsair's manual says to mount the fans as intake for best cooling. I have always used mine to exhaust out. Just want another perspective. The reason I'm thinking about this is I'm thinking it may help in cooling the VRM on the new Dark mobo if I set it up as intake now. What's your thoughts?? After a closer look at your pics with the rad fans, It looks like you do exhaust as well. Still would like to hear your thoughts on it though when you have a chance.

@Bbary, Yah I had the same thing with the x79SLI In the bios it would always read higher but then in windows would run at the Vcore I set it at. I dunno. I sent Vince a PM. I'm hoping he can enlighten me.

Also I'm exhausting the air out push/pull config. I have 2 high RPM 120mm pushing air in directly to the CPU rad and the VGA rad next to it. I can feel the cool air pushing straight in. The new VRM doesn't really get that hot either. Nothing like the X79sli did.

Yeah, and with my X58 it's opposite. I set 1.36v let's say, reboot back to bios and it shows just what I set it to. Then in Windows it always shows just a tad higher. And I'm only talking like 15mV or so difference. Will be interested to hear Vince's thought's. dustingg

I'll leave mine as exhaust as well unless I see the VRM temps getting to high. On my X58, I had to attach a 40mm fan to the VRM heatsink to keep it under 60C once I went to H2O on the CPU. The CPU fan used to blow air at it for cooling. Thanks.

So long as you have positive air flow coming into the case Keep your rads exhausting. No need to blow hot air over your VGA, VRM and MB.

Yeah, I'll leave all my cooling setup the way it is. Been working fine all this time. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

In the request queue, but I'm glad to see a positive response! Hopefully I won't regret spending the $150 on this board. I just can't see myself dropping $400 on an asus right now.
