    Good to hear that (;
    All that I would like to know is if this motherboard will be better that RIVE in CPU Overclocking.
    I mean if it will require less VCore than the RIVE, at the moment the best X79 MB imho

    Haha!

    Hope the board is as good as you say, it's been weird not looking at EVGA for motherboards anymore.

    Only if you were on water and not that crazy jungle juice (ln2).

    I will either find a way, or make one.

    No offense to Vince, but considering his endorsement of the original X79 series ( and one of the main factors in my purchase) I really can't take his word for it. Let's not forget that not ALL x79 boards failed but a lot of them did.

    I don't remember a single bad review but that isn't surprising considering the fact that the boards are more than likely Cherry picked for review and record breaking. I'm done with EVGA boards based on the way x79 owners were treated (lack there of) and while I hope that the Dark works it won't really sway me one way or the other. The board I cared about was the one I paid $400 for a year ago..the one that did NOT work as intended.

    See, I don't remember too many reviews period, but the ones I saw all mentioned bios issues (which should have been my cue).  Anyway, that's just nitpicky points on a post I otherwise agree with wholeheartedly.

    Bingo, it is great to hear Vince say something has been greatly improved but until I see real users(who aren't paid by EVGA) do reviews it doesn't mean much. I don't reviews of just a few hours on a test bench either, I want to see several weeks if not months.

    EVGA might have engineered a fully functional product, but it will take several generations of solid boards before I purchase and/or recommend another EVGA motherboard.  For the sake of current X79 owners caught up in this debacle, I hope the ~$600 required to receive a functional product is worth it.

    Enjoy yourself. I choose my motherboard on reliability, and longevity. my X58 Classified has served me well. I will not make purchase just because someone "Rah-rahs" them up.  Let people chose for themselves. When I make my dicision it will be on the merit of the motherboard. Nothing else. Thanks!

    This motherboard is really crazy on LN2 overclocking, new PWM is solid. I hit 5820mhz on my 3930K through 3dmark cloud gate today with around 2500mhz on 16GB memory. I almost had a run pass at 5870mhz. This is the highest this cpu has EVER clocked for me on ANY X79 board, and I have tried many including the ASUS one :D. Oh yah and I'm using GTX CLASSIFIED 780 in QUAD SLI..
