I want to know how Crysis 3 is running on other peoples PC's.
I have 2 660Ti's in SLI and an i5-2500k and I can run it on Very high settings except I have to use fxaa all of the other anti-aliasing methods run to slow.

campaign runs 70-90fps 2560x1440 everything very high smaa gpu2x except for when my gpu usage randomly drops to 20% for a second or two then i get 15-20fps.  Most likely a driver issue and not vram since i have not seen over 1989mb.  Using a 3930k 4.5ghz and 2 gtx 690's stock ( game doesn't like my gaming oc)

Played about a half hour on my laptop - so far it runs very well on very high spec, with MSAA at 2X. Haven't tried it on my desktop yet, but it seems Nvidia's drivers need a bit of an update to get it running completely smooth.

I have everything maxed out to Very High and MSAA 8x/AF 16x @ 2560x1440 and I am pulling about 80 FPS in single player with about 2400mb of VRAM being used. It is a beast of a game for sure. Occasionally during cut scenes though, I do get random drops down to 20 FPS but during actual gameplay it is a non-issue.

I think that FXAA looks better then most but not better than TXAA, what do you get with TXAA enabled.

with everything maxed using FXAA im getting around 60-80fps on the system in my sig...but like some are reporting randomly get drops into the 10-30fps range for what seems like almost no reason

edit: oh and even though its sitting at decent frame rates the game itself just feels really sluggish and stuttery most of the time...hopefully just a driver issue that can be fixed in an update

How much memory is Crysis 3 using for you? It is maxing out my 2GB 680. I wonder if I could benefit from a 4GB card

I feel like 12fps is too low for a 680. Wonder if I have a weird config issue

with FXAA its sitting right around 2gb but if i go to TXAA or MSAA it easily hits 21-2300

so probably wouldnt see a HUGE difference with a 4gb card

well just reloaded the game with SLI disabled and running same settings on a single card around 30-40fps so either the 4gb card does really help or you have some other issue...not too sure how much of a difference the extra ram actually makes

Maxed with 1x AA I usually get between 50-70fps at 1920x1080p. Runs smoothly without hiccups.

It could be your processor is limiting your gpu.

Just for consultation on this vram discussion. I'm sure that 2GB vram is limiting you. When I went from 1GB 460se's to 660Ti, I personally saw an increase in performance on Crysis 2 on max. I'm sure that Crysis 3 easily hits that 2GB vram wall on anything bigger then 1920x1080...

    My Laptop (GE63VR-7RF):
    -7700HQ.
    -16GB RAM.
    -GTX 1070.
    -128GB SSD.
    -1X 1TB 7200 spinny drive.

2560x1440p everything max, except motion blur medium and 2xmsaa, 40-55 fps with 99% gpu usage, drops randomly to 15fps with 35% gpu usage sitting around 2gb vram. 3930k, 680 ftw 4gb sli 1200mhz

I have everything on High except the FXAA stuff and what not. I turned all that off for now and using 1x of the other thing. Using a 2550k @4.5 and 1x 660 FTW 3g and 16g of memory. I get mostly a constant 60fps but sometimes with a lot going on it drops to 30s - 40s. I am not fortunate enough to max everything out at this time but that is fine. The way I have my settings has the game looking great. This is in multiplayer though haven't tried single player yet really.

    My setup is an i7 3770K @ 4.2ghz, 8gb ram, and SLI GTX 680 2GB @ 1200 core, 1700 memory. Maximum temps have been 58-60C. Monitor is a single 1920 x 1200. I have done a clean install of the latest 314 drivers.

Settings at Very High, TXAA medium, v-sync enabled, motion blur medium. I am only on the first level with the rain and indoors + water falling down. I am getting serious stuttering at times down to about 20 fps as others have said.

I have tried disabling SLI and using a single 680. I've tried playing without v-sync and without TXAA or MSAA.  I've tried lower resolutions. I've tried disabling motion blur. The stuttering still persists in all the same places on the map regardless of my game settings.

Really annoying and I hope this gets resolved.

Here i get as others say the same framedrops in the first level (20fps).

I also get huge drops in the cutscenes but during gameplay after the first mission, its all fine..

I just need a fix for the drops in the cutscenes and the first mission then its all fine.

I"m having the same exact issues. I'm glad I'm not alone.. we pretty much have almost the same setup. I was thinking maybe I need another 680 lol.

I want to know how Crysis 3 is running on other peoples PC's.
I have 2 660Ti's in SLI and an i5-2500k and I can run it on Very high settings except I have to use fxaa all of the other anti-aliasing methods run to slow.

What resolution do u plan on playing the game?

When I looked at how much vram was being used it said 1.7GB it probably did peak at 2GB. I wonder how much system ram the game uses I only have 4GB and the game suggest 8GB, Ill have to check it out.

That has very little to do with vram and much to do with 660Ti being much, much faster than 460SE.(more than twice as fast) ;p
Crysis 2 doesn't need more than 1GB in most resolutions.
