vardenkastav Anyway, i am glad you did it man ! Did you have any problem getting the air out of the loop ? Yeah. I did. I didn't have a syringe. I spent close to an hour getting every last bit of air out of the radiator and pump/block. Then I made the connection with only a tiny bit of air in the hoses. Well, I THOUGHT I got all the air out of the radiator. But, there was actually a whole ton of air left in the radiator. The tubes in the radiator are so small; I guess the air didn't want to move out of the radiator until I turned the pump on. All the sudden, I had a massive amount of air in the loop. Well, I got it out finally. I think I was being a little picky about getting the air out and could have settled with the result long before I finally was satisfied. Originally, there was quite a bit of air in the pump "reservoir" when it was new and I guess I just couldn't settle for that quantity of air.

vardenkastav Why are you using the Jmicron SATA controller above the primary video card? Before I cut up a tupperware container (makeshift tupperware fan shroud FTW), I had to place a fan outside the case in order to get two fans on the H50 radiator. EDIT: That's alot of memory. Oh, what kind of tubing did you use? I wasn't patient and just picked up what I could. I got the cheap clear vinyl tubing. I wonder how fast the fluid will evaporate through my tubing.

Oh, what kind of tubing did you use? I wasn't patient and just picked up what I could. I got the cheap clear vinyl tubing. I wonder how fast the fluid will evaporate through my tubing. I use that controller for my BlueRay drive because the Intel SATA is used for 6 HDDs and the other two red connectors i am going to use for dual 2.5" HDD bay eventually. At this point i have single 3.5" bay instead. Maxed out memory at the beginning just in case i need it in the future. Wanted to have exactly (revision) the same DIMMs in both banks. I also used vinyl tubes. I don't think the fluid can evaporate through them. But if this happens i just buy some serious stuff instead, maybe change my fluid to green same time too. Honestly i don't think H50 requires push/pull set up in most cases. I only did it because TJ10 top grille is very restrictive so i figured out push/pull will make more pressure to actually force the air out through that grille. IMHO push/pull doesn't give you better airflow when the flow is unrestricted. And you can safely assume that most air coolers don't really restrict the flow of air, the metal fins are not close enough to each other to do it. If you put two fans in push/pull, will the air go faster ? Not at all ! However such setup gives you more pressure and in situation when the flow is restricted (like some stupid grille with tiny holes in it) it can actually improve airflow and cooling.

Huh. In my situation, I noticed a small improvement using two fans (push/pull) instead of just one. I haven't seen any review for the H50 yet which didn't show a decent improvement by using a push/pull configuration. The radiator may not seem very restrictive, but it restricts alot compared to not having a radiator there at all.

I have noticed like 2c - 3c difference with H50 push/pull, but thats with the grille added to the equation. And like you said H50 radiator with all the small "fins" may be actually quite restrictive by itself.

The radiator may not seem very restrictive, but it restricts alot compared to not having a radiator there at all. I have to agree here. I saw a 3C difference with the push/pull. I also had to mount one fan on the outside-rear and push threw the grill holes. This little H50 rad is considerably more restictive than my other rigs with Feser or Thermochill rads. I've built several systems for friends and used the H50. I had always been a little reluctant to use one on an i7 build, but I'm now a believer. Partly because of guys like yourself ty_ger07. I had to see it for myself; I know, I'm one of those guys. Anyway, this little thing rocks! I'm totally sold on the H50 now just because of the price/performance value. I think I'm done buying all this fancy-schmancy water cooling stuff and will now save money for Fermi. LOL

I love this idea. I have been very impressed with my h50 and i realize that it is not a "real" water cooling system, but it does work very well. I think i may take this one level farther and try to add a ek chip-set block to it along with the duel radiators, my only concern really is if the pump on the h50 can handle it. http://www.sidewindercomp..s.com/ekevx58clacn.html In the future it would leave me with options to actualy get the other items needed for a better water cooling setup, but this does look like a a very clean and fun mod. rody

I'm digging the Imperial emblem badge you have on the inside of the case :) I had a friend buy me the Imperial thumb screws back 6 years ago when I did my first built (also got me a case badge as well which is still on that monitor to this day!)

I haven't check the temps yet, but i am sure it is going to help as the airflow that goes into the case doubled (i have replaced green fan with panaflo). Of course the front door needs to be opened at least a bit to take advantage of that fan. Also it looks just sick, either with green or black fan... i love it ! :)
