bc, you've been Folding for how long ? 
 
October 18 will be 2 months Folding for me.  I'm sure there is plenty I have yet to learn, about optimizing PCs for PPD.
 
Besides I thought "Crunching" was CPU only --> alas I'm Server & Xeon poor
 
I'll have to do some recon
 
My thought to jump My Folding to light-speed was to build my own distributed computing bank, from many lesser PCs

There's GPU crunching as well, just fewer projects use them. I sometimes change to crunching for challenges and the like.

I was hoping to get to rank 200 before you caught me Cool, but I won't make it. Although I did pick up a 970 and a 960 to add to the folding but those additions are too little too late. Keep up the folding.

And Some GPU Task out perform CPU, in fact MOST GPU Projects Points are higher than CPU.
Off the Top of my head Five GPU BOINC Projects to ONE GPU Folding Project.

I'm just saying there's a lot more CPU work out there. I prefer medical/science research and tend to avoid the purely mathematical unless there's a team event. I'll have to into some of those if I find a good way to fold at the same time.

Might be even faster... my second system keeps rebooting while I am at work.
 
I haven't had time to go through the dump file yet... all I know is I got a driver causing the restart. Hopefully this weekend I will get time to figure it out.

My 100M milestone posted, (another 2 days = 10M points) Team Rank 174 and moving up
 
I even had to take all three systems down last night due to severe thunderstorms, lighting up my neighborhood.
 
100 Million = Not too bad, for my first 41 days of Folding, including the learning curve ?
 
I think that I'm starting to get the hang of this Folding.
 
Cost about $7.27 extra power/day compared to last year for whole house; been a very warm September = lot of A/C, not just Folding
 
32 days in the bill the increase vs last September = $232.76
