    I kind of wish more horizontal htpc style cases were made but vertical ones seem to be popular right now.

    Since when has the debate between PC and consoles gaming been about the case?

    Does anyone else see how silly they have it setup

    The SSDs and A-I-O CPU are on the door. So unless you have extra long cable/tubes, you'll be pulling them nearly out the socket every time you open the door

    Marketing ignorance, PC manufacturers are trying to treat console as a form factor.  In reality, a low-end PC with embedded specs should not be compared to a modular PC unless they share the same customers.  Usually those that purchases consoles to game on have nothing to do with the types of customers than use their PC to game on.


    For the high-end PC niche, the only way to "settle" the argument is to either make a high-end spec console or do al UHQ rendering offsite (which is what nVidia is trying to attempt with their Shield + GRID).
     

    For Intel processors, 0.122 x TDP = Continuous Amps at 12v [source].
