First off I would like to thank Kirk (forum member Gone Cruising) at Lazerwerx for an awesome job on the design and build of this custom acrylic case. He was a pleasure to work with and always provided professional and detailed advise on any changes I suggested during this design. I highly recommend you shoot him a pm if you're interested in any type of custom acrylic work. Thanks again Kirk! The concept was to build a full tower case in black acrylic that offered plenty of room with performance watercooling features. I wanted to stay old school with a full tower rather than a big cube like you see with Danger Den and Mountain Mods cases. The case will sport a 4x120 Rad on the top for CPU\Mobo\Ram cooling and a 3x120 Rad for SLi cooling. It also has 2x140mm front intake fan support and 1x92mm exhaust fan. The 3x120 Rad will also provide intake and the top 4x120 Rad will provide exhaust. There are also vents in the top rear for additional airflow and vent slots for dual power supply use on the back side. Here are pictures of design concept. Looks pretty awesome doesn't it? Now here are pics of some of the cuts he made. Now a couple of shots of assembly And now a few shots of completion. Yes, the skull was my idea and it will glow using LED's These are just a few shots of many that were taken. If you would like to see more pictures, you can view them here: http://s954.photobucket.com/albums/ae26/Lazerwerx/Tower%2024%20ATX/ I'll be updating this post as progress is made so check back often to see how this beauty turns out. Thanks for viewing!

I think I need to get in touch with Kirk. I'm going to need some panels (steel) laser cut. What peice of software do you use to draw up the plans and give to the laser cutters? Awesome case design.

Awesome case design. Kirk did everything. He drew it up in SketchUp and one other program I believe and he makes all the cuts himself. He's very talented and a master with acrylic.

I've only got one thing to say. Is it done yet? But seriously, sweet. I'm trying to get one of his cases but everytime I start to get the funds something happens or work slows down. Sweet case, I can't wait to see what you do with it.

Here are some of the parts I already have. Sorry for the pic quality, I don't have a decent camera yet. Parts List Above: I7-2600k EVGA P67 SLI Corsair Vengeance 1866 2x4gb 4x120mm NZXT Performance Fans 2x140mm NZXT Performance Fans Primochill PrimoFlex Pro LRT 3/8 ID x 5/8 OD White Tubing Swiftech Apogee HD White CPU Water Block Swiftech MCR420-QP Radiator The EVGA P67 SLI isn't my first choice for a motherboard but I wanted to stay within my black and white color scheme and I wanted a EVGA board. EVGA should seriously consider making Black Edition FTW boards because it allows a more neutral color and to me, red and black is so played out. A black board would offer the builder to use any color scheme they wanted. I'd love to have a P67 FTW Black Edition board I stuck with Swiftech cooling parts because I had such great results in my current mods rig build. I took that old 17-860(one of the original releases before they re-engineered it) from 2.8 to 4.2 and my temps were fantastic. Swiftech just released that Apogee HD this year and it's suppose to offer better performance than the Apogee XT that I used in my current build, plus it fit my color scheme perfectly. I'm not to sure about the NZXT fans but from the reviews I've read they seem to be pretty decent fans...and I don't have to paint them, lol. More coming so keep checking back. Thanks for viewing.

I started putting the case together and ran into a snag when I realized I didn't have the screws to mount my rads or case fans. The screws are in route so I thought I would post another photo of more hardware pron for you guys to see. Parts List Above: Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD EVGA GTX 570 Superclocked Bitspower Water Tank Z Multi 250 Bitspower 3/8 ID x 5/8 OD Compression Fittings - Matte Black Bitspower 3/8 ID x 5/8 OD 45 Degree Compression Fittings - Matte Black Swiftech MCP-655 w/ Custom Pump Housing G1/4 Threads I swapped the UV green orings for black ones to stay within my black and white color scheme. I have another GTX 570 SC on the way to run SLi and 2 Koolance VID NX580 Water Blocks as well as 2 EVGA GTX 570 Backplates. I'll post photos when they arrive so you can see how they install. I went with the Koolance blocks because the reviews on them were very positive and you can install the EVGA Backplates with them. I didn't realize just how big that Bitspower Water Tank Z Multi 250 is until I received it, it's really huge! I ordered a 150 tube just in case I wanted to downsize it. Check back for more updates. Thanks for viewing!

Did you know one of his cases and etchings was featured in CPU Magazine? He even snagged the front page! Check it out: http://www.computerpoweruser.com/DigitalIssues/ComputerPowerUser/CP____1111__/ . If you flip through the pages you'll find a nice 2 page article on the case.
