I tried to get some pictures of the mobo, CPU and CPU Block installed but my camera is seriously fail! Anyhow, here are the best ones out of the bunch. I'm going to borrow my sisters camera tonight and hopefully get some better shots. Again, sorry for horrible quality.

Kirk knocked that one out of the park for you, man... absolutely stunning!

He did my case window for me (see my ModsRig) and I follow his Photobucket updates, so I've been watching this case get designed and cut with interest.

Looking forward to the completed system!

Thanks stratosrally. I looked at your case window when I was thinking about contacting Kirk. He did a great job with yours and it helped me decide to go ahead and contact him for the case. Did you know one of his cases and etchings was featured in CPU Magazine? He even snagged the front page! Check it out: http://www.computerpoweruser.com/DigitalIssues/ComputerPowerUser/CP____1111__/ . If you flip through the pages you'll find a nice 2 page article on the case.

Yep, I definitely checked out that article - I try to spread the word about his abilities as much as I can, gotta keep the karma flow going for the gift he gave me. At least until I can swing getting a case built by him myself!

I am currently trying to come up with an acrylic case design that has the motherboard I/O panel on top, like the Raven cases from Silverstone - but I want to create a shroud that organizes & hides the cables so it's still clean looking. It needs to be easily removable - maybe hinged -  so you can easily access the ports, and also be vented because  I only want fans pulling from the bottom to the the top. Also, all the drives will be on mounts on the outside of the case behind the motherboard - use SSDs and external HDDs and an external optical drive. So, the case will only have the motherboard and PSU inside it, with the PSU pulling air from a hole behind it. In the end it would be a nice small case, considering it would have no internal drive bays. Also, it would be pretty quiet - no front or side fans at all - but still have great airflow - 3x140mm in the bottom, 1x140mm exhaust in the top with vented PCIe slot covers.

Sorry - this thread is about your case!

Looking great so far, will give you a plus 1 when you're done. Maybe you'll get featured in a magazine, too!

I put together the top loop and began leak testing it. I have to say that I'm not happy with it. It's functional and so far it isn't leaking but I don't like the hose layout so most likely I'll be tearing it down and doing something differently. If you have any suggestions, I'll be glad to hear them.

Here is a picture taken during leak testing.

Perhaps a bay reservoir/pump combo would help clean it up a bit?

Here are a few pictures of one of my EVGA GTX 570's with Koolance VID NX-580, EVGA Backplate and single slot bracket installed. I'm currently using the other 570 so it will get it's block and backplate installed soon. Photos taken with my cell phone so not the greatest.

Absolutely gorgeous, maybe I should contact him as well. He seems swamped though and I'm just a noobie at custom cases.

Awesome work though on both of your parts (him on the case, and you on the build!)

I finally got everything installed and fired her up this weekend. I still have a few things left to do as you will see in some of the pics but she is taking shape nicely. Here are some pics for you...

Temps are 18-22 idle, haven't put a load on it yet. Yeah I ditched the hard drive cage, will be sending you a pm about that soon. I used one side of it to mount that EK Res. Airflow is real good, but down by that power supply, it's congested big time. A lot of air bounces back towards the bottom Rad.

Killer build. One day I will have something built by G.C. I've been in contact with him several times, but I always change my mind or end up not having the money for what we plan. One day...

Yeah, nothin major at all, just something that works and will replace the cosmos should anything go bad with it. Won't be used all the time.
