Hello,

I recently purchased a 780ti Classified and I wanted to put on a backplate before I installed it in my rig.  The problem is that they seem to be sold out everywhere I have looked.  Amazon recently changed their availability from "Ships in 1-2 months" to "Currently Unavailable."  I was wondering if this means that these backplates are on high demand or is this a sign that they have been discontinued?

Thanks

$85 discounted to $20? Talk about a marketing scheme... LoL. At least they have them.

Thanks for the replies.  Unfortunately, I found those websites last week and I couldn't order from them.
pccomputerdeals simply redirects me to amazon when I try to pay and sanbartoloameyalco ONLY accepts iTunes gift cards as a payment method which doesn't sound too legitimate.

There are also other sites that claim to have them in stock like critchlowstores but I am never able to actually place an order.

I'm in the same boat. I've had them on order from Amazon since September, and it still says expected between 10/16 and 11/5, but now the backplates show as unavailable, and they don't know when they're getting more.

Looked on ebay, but there hasn't been one up since late August, unless you're planning to buy the card as well.

Getting a bad feeling because of the 980, these aren't being made anymore... Which is pretty dumb considering that since the price drop on these the last couple of weeks, I imagine the demand for the backplates will be up. F A I L !
I've also got my eyes out for the hydro copper waterblock, but there's none of those either, just the EK block. I think the EVGA blocks were being made by Swiftech? If so, then I can be certain I'll never see one.

As long as the auto-notify button is still available we should still be getting more at some point but I don't have an ETA.

That's good news Erik, thank you! While you don't have an ETA, that's far better than none! I'll take it! And yeah, I signed up to be notified yesterday afternoon just in case my order on Amazon doesn't go anywhere.

And... They are now no longer listed.

Assuming at this point they're no longer being made or available.
    FAIL.

FrozenCPU.com has a few of the 780 Classified backplates in stock. Likely the last of their kind. Lacks the TI in the text, but I plan to find a way to rectify that.
