ty_ger07 23 pages? Can a mod please move this to general hardware since it is no longer news and is sitting here all day every day spammed with unnewsworthy comments?.. plugging up this news section.
One thread is "plugging" up the news section? Wow... You could have opted to simply not click on this thread title.

Gsync caps that for you. that one way I know my asus VG248QE is running Gsync correctly. Gsync will FPS cap at 144hz and everything is quick and smooth.

There are too many personal questions on sign up and feels extremely over moderated, we even had that troll mod in earlier saying how IPS>TN and he had 20k posts... i personally only signed up to chat in this topic and i doubt i will venture to the rest of the forum knowing how horrible it probably is. Personally, I'm at least a week off my Swift, might get word today, but trying to get one on the cheap lol

I have ordered mine, through my place of work it was going to be $1171 at staff price and is meant to retail price at $1299 Australian Dollars! So i bought it off my favourite online seller h tt ps:/ /www .pcc ase gear.c o m/ and got it for $999 + $35 for express freight but stock won't be in until the 12th September, also threw in a 500GB SSD for game installations and right angle sata leads to tidy up the case, everything including express freight $1311 :) Unfortunately the 12th is a Friday, so express freight is 15th Monday September expected arrival or Tuesday 16th if i get extremely unlucky. At least i know some dates now :) edit: current USD exchange rate to get an idea of what $999 Aussie dollars is, is $932, so my entire order of $1311 inc Swift, 500GB SSD, x4 sata leads + express freight equals $1224

Has anyone else had any updates with Tiger Direct? I ordered the swift from them on Monday (8/25) when it said "In Stock" and my order status has been stuck to "To Drop Shipper" since Wednesday. Does this mean I have one waiting for me to be packaged and sent? Or does this mean Tiger took too many orders than they could handle and accepted my order for an "In Stock" item that wasn't even in stock. I don't really want to be stuck with a pre-order when the page clearly listed the item was in stock.

I was doing the same! For those still on a mission to get this from Amazon. 1. Add the RoG Swift to your wish list! 2. Keep amazon account info logged, if you have an amazon store card or credit card info stored at amazon your chances are better. 3. Surf your favorite internet sites or watch Netflix and periodically tab over to amazon and refresh your wish list. It will show up eventually and more than likely will not show up in the product page. This was how I managed to get one after camping the site for several hours a day. LOL As for my interest in G Sync. It will in theory give more life to my setup (see sig). I will be doing extensive tests with my 680s in single and SLI. And doing comparisons from 1080p (60hz) to 1440p (85hz, 100hz, 120hz, 144hz). This should help others with older hardware. PM me if you have any specifics you wish me to test on my 2009 monster build that still kicks ass :).

Of course the rog swift is still news. For example, I just found out, on this thread, that there probably won't be anymore shipments till end of September. I also use this thread for NEWS about where the swfit is available for purchase. I don't mean to be hateful or disrespectful, but people like you are extremely disliked by most forum dwellers. If that karma is OK with you then more power to ya. But, we all know about karma...... My advice: get a hobby and stop worrying about the "correct" place for forum threads. Anyway, back on track. Thanks to jgonz. I just added the swift to my Amazon wish list. Fingers crossed.

Another useful tool is Auto Refresh Plus for chrome. I almost got one on Newegg this way. It will auto refresh a web page at a set time interval. I also set it to sound an alarm when "add to cart" showed up on the page. So when that backorder button finally goes away you will be instantly notified.

Crap... why am I here again? I just wanted to remind you that I wrote one and two half sentences stating my opinion. I was not disrespectful about it or disruptive. The mod agreed by his own will. It was your fellow lovers of this thread who tried to destroy their own thread by writing many paragraphs about what a "d-bag" I was. Your fellow friendly companions should work on their skills of expressing their opinion in a meaningful and relevant manner ("debate") instead of throwing feces and trying to destroy their own thread. Please, if you have any more comments or questions, PM me.

Thanks, this is mainly what everyone uses this thread for We have people watching stock levels and graciously reporting back etc Also the current owners can give the future-owners advice and insight into how it works, what to do in certain cases, best way to set it up in certain configs etc etc If anyone has pictures of their setup with the PG278Q let's see more of them Also any findings you've made that you think are significant, please do-tell We are now back on track, thanks everyone

I tried to get a date out of Newegg as well They refused to give an ETA so I cancelled my Pre-Order turned Back-Order If they just had an ETA I would have been happy, however another retailer is giving a discount (Canada Computers) so I jumped at it I end up paying $834.99 CAD for the Swift before tax, which translates to $768 USD
