Well I pulled the trigger on the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 K|NGP|N HYBRID GAMING card buy invite. Not the card I want, really want the RTX 3080 Ti card.

Congrats Kram! That extra memory could be nice to have. And if you change your mind in the future you will still get a notify for 3080Ti eventually. But for now you will have something to use!

Back in September 2020 I did a auto notify on a 3090 and didn't take when I got the invite to buy it. Had no idea this video card shortage was going to happen at that time.

I know right? I wish I knew what we were going to be in store for. I wouldn't have sold my 2080Ti for cheap on the eve of the announcement. I could have gotten much more if I held on to it. I figured it was just another launch like in the past where stock would level out within weeks or a month max. Instead I had nothing to use for months while waiting. This whole shortage has been crazy.

It's been crazy. I had purchased a EVGA RTX 2080 Super HC and was lucky enough to still be in Step-Up time frame and did a Step-Up with it.

Per the Queue tracker it looks like they got up to 7:34:12 AM then on the 3967KR.
 
Hopefully I won't have to wait too long for it to get to the 7:43:46!

Looks like we moved just another 6 minutes today. Hopefully the drops get bigger from here.

First few are usually pretty scarce and then one day it will shoot up a whole bunch, then a drought, then they trickle in and the cycle repeats

Came on here to say I just purchased my card with a time of 7:31:24 but it looks like people are way past that lol. I was even able to use a 40% off EVGA Elite coupon for it which was insane for EVGA to even allow that.

Just so everyone in the queue can see what I just got....wow  It's bittersweet.  I'm happy to finally get an upgrade, but the cost, the performance, the inflation, the covid, the shortage, what the actual poo...  Anyway, good luck to anyone attempting to get a GPU they can actually PUT in a PC and use.  Of course, it's not here yet, but I just placed my order.

It will probably be in about 1 or 2 weeks at the rate we are going right now. 

I just completed my purchase. I am still torn about it. I do want this card since I am sitting on a 1080 TI but that price point is oooff. I may keep it or sell it at cost to my co-worker, he would love it for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

I'll be buying every single card they allow. I only plan to keep one. The rest will go to friends of mine like you said. Sell it to them at cost so they can get a card. I have a few friends that are trying to build and are stuck waiting on a GPU.

Same here as well reason why I am signed up to so many in the queue
