Well after 2 weeks wait with scan.co.uk they said EVGA will have an answer by the end of the day, saying they need to get an answer back from hong-kong? Lol I was like ok...

I’ve been told the price at least, going to be £495 plus delivery but eta is still no where to be seen..

So that will be $648 usd (save you doing the conversion) lol

But it is nice to see the 1 Euro Equals to 1 US Dollar and not 80 Cents.
I just sent a friend in Germany a 100 Euros, before this would only 70 Euros @ 1 Dollar = .72 Euro Cents or so, not good at math
But you can still buy more with Euros in Europe than/then* you can buy with Dollars in the US.

Euros used to be so cheap to buy, then again so did usd :-) i remember nearly 2 dollars to the pound when building race engines and was cheaper to buy from the states than here!!

Think you get like 1.24usd now 😂

So why should I buy the Dark over the Aorus Extreme? Don’t want ASUS so left with these two boards and unsure what to get.

If it wasn’t for the fact that Amazon delivery smashed it up on the way to me, I would be running that board myself (might still if EVGA don’t send some boards to the uk soon).

Only complaint on the extreme was the bios, but if your not into overclocking or messing about too much I guess it won’t matter too much.

The reason I liked the board was because of the fact it looked well engineered.

Just started a thread “anyone got a scrap z390 dark board for sale” and I started in the motherboard section, but the mods have moved it to a section I can’t access, if anyone offers me a scrap board for sale will someone direct them to this thread as I can’t see/reply anything in the forsale section.

Thank you.

Just wondering if it takes this long to get a Dark Z390, what happens if I have to replace it if it has a fault or RMA?

I mean if they can’t make enough boards to even sell, am I buying into something that could be moths of down time if it goes wrong?

Starting to question my decision to hang on for this board, even though its the one I want.

When scan.co.uk said they have never listed it because they couldn’t get stock since Jan, that worries me.

Maybe if I was in the states it would be worth waiting, maybe in the UK I’m wasting my time?

Can someone please confirm what I was told that the us version of the board is different?

Both are listed as same part number - 131-CS-E399-KR? How are they different?

Can see they are in stock in the US, site will not let me ship to the UK... sooooo (removed) annoying.

Would pay shipping and loose ALL WARRANTY just so I can build my computer.

When Trump spoke about 4-5times the trade deals to be had between him and Boris, lets (removed) hope
EVGA imports where part or that deal!!

Both show the same as you said above.
EVGA Z390 DARK, 131-CS-E399-KR, LGA 1151, Intel Z390, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.1, M.2, U.2, EATX, Intel Motherboard
EVGA Z390 DARK, 131-CS-E399-KR, LGA 1151, Intel Z390, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.1, M.2, U.2, EATX, Intel Motherboard
They both look the same.

I have been told by two USA based companys they are different and couldn’t export to me, and scan in the uk said they are not the same...

So either I’m being lied too or there is a difference.

The fact I can’t even buy direct from USA as they will not ship to the UK made me believe the claim its different...

I can see them in stock and can’t buy one, so frustrating...

I asked them on the phone, was told global warranty wasn’t a thing, and chap couldn’t tell me when or if they would get any and to speak to supplier.. scan is a listed supplier and from what I’m being told that EVGA have give them a price but no date or if they can even get stock.

So know one knows.

Might need to ask someone from the states to ship the board to me, but this is honestly ridiculous...

I think the difference will be in wifi.
https://crnetpackets.com/...th-america-and-europe/
But there should not be a problem in Europe, a lot of Americans are arriving with their laptops to Europe and it must work.

I spoke to EVGA europe today (Germany), and they told me the boards are no different and that they are in-fact covered under global warranty :-(

So I could have purchased one month and half ago if i had know this.

So anyone checking this thread out know you can order it from abroad... just EVGA website will not ship direct to you.

Going to look at some prices and import a few, think I will need to buy at least two of these as If I have a failure I could be down for months at a time.

Scan still have not received the boards, but apparently they are having five arrive, might just purchase all five, and open a shop called “www.ActuallyStockEVGADarkZ390Boards.com and sell then for twice the price as they are rarer than moon dust.

Sucks.

Edit: the fact that Europe EVGA is saying that the board is identical to the USA version, is the reason its not being sold here because wifi is wrong for europe? Can someone clarify it will or won’t work? Bit confused on the subject of wifi.

As my understanding is they have sold none here in the uk directly?

At the beginning of this year 2019 I became aware about the EVGA Z390 Dark and I am very interested in this mobo because of the lack of the stupid and silly RGB lights and the beautiful PCB layout with the RAM DIMM slots parallel to the PCIe slots, which is the best option for the front to back cooling airflow inside the case, at that time I did a bit research about availability and I remember was available new even on eBay UK, I am now surprised about why its so it  difficult now to get this mobo in the UK

I’m confused when there is clearly a demand...

Just had an email from Scan, said it will now be 16 more days before any arrive in the uk!! So nearly 2 months now total from when I decided I wanted one until when it is “meant to arrive”
