Sorry superclarkey, I seemed to turn my back on this thread for a bit and man did this thing go in a few different directions.  Earlier, I was told that our EU team was waiting for Scan to place the order, so I'm not sure what happened there.

I can confirm that they are the same boards, and they both have the 3 Year Global Warranty.

The only reason for confusion I can imagine is that we do not sell outside of North America on the US store.  That doesn't mean the products are different in this case (compared to our different suffixes for power supplies due to the cables included with the units), only that we do not ship outside that geographic location.

The only way we sell to other regions via the US is by putting products on our official EVGA Ebay page, as at least a few people have taken advantage of using that option.  Currently, we don't have any Z390 DARK on the Ebay page.  Let me know if you would be interested in that option.

I would be interested as it doesn’t seem that uk is getting any lol...

Scan has never listed them so that tells you how many must have been sold here as everyone that is listed on evga “where to buy” is like, didn’t know there was a z390 dark...

If you want me to distribute them I’ll buy 5 up front no problem and list them on ebay uk on my business account :-) if no one else is interested to sell them that is lol

I’m sticking to my guns here I will have one of these boards, otherwise I’ll book a flight and come get one :-p haha

Earlier, I was told that our EU team was waiting for Scan to place the order, so I'm not sure what happened there.

Just wanted to add that I believe they quoted a shipping time previously and simply didn’t order me a board, I’m of the opinion its only when I called them and said what is going on (as I can’t believe they can’t speak to EVGA or get an idea of time frame, thing called email) trying to make me feel like EVGA europe is uncontactable and having to go directly to hong kong to purchase their boards...

Once I had a go at them it was only then they ordered it and gave me a date of nearly 2 weeks....

Been a really bad customer service experience with Scan so far.

First contact with them asking about board on there chat system, was told can’t get the board and couldn’t be ordered... I said but your an EVGA approved seller surely you can order one... “we can’t sorry”

Tried a second time on chat once realising a week later I can’t buy directly off EVGA USA as won’t ship to me, this time was told that should be able to order it and will come back to me “same day” two days passed and though best to call them, no on had any idea who I was or what I was asking so they bounced me around 3 departments where I had to explain the same thing over and over... spoke to a sales rep and he said he would look into it and get back to me.

A few days passed so I had to call them again, this time told waiting on a response from EVGA, call me straight back... no call back so called the next day, told now it can be ordered and said needs to speak to marketing team so they can work out the price they will sell it for, will confirm and come back to me.

This went over a 3 more working days (not including the weekend), still no call back from them, when I got through they said good news they have ordered 5 and they would arrive last week on Thursday and becoming directly from hong kong... I said ok and offered payment and was told price needs to be confirmed as import duty and taxes depend on what it will cost me... so sounds like they are buying the boards under the table!!

So Thursday came (last week) when it was meant to arrive, and the chap on the phone did say might be late Thursday or early morning Friday, so for him to say this you would think they had tracking numbers and knew it was there or round about...

So Monday came and no call for payment so I called them back again, this time the original person was unavailable to speak too and I asked for a call back, (this is at 9am) at 5:15pm I called again and asked to speak to original sales chap and told was on another call, so I said I’ll hold as I would really like an update, left on hold until 5:30pm which a manager type person came on the phone and said youll have to call back tomorrow as he is stuck on the phone and we close at 5:30 so will not be able to speak to him... I said thats fine but I wouldn’t need to keep calling if someone would either call me back or email whats going on, he then told me “just because you call everyday won’t make it arrive any quicker” which got my back up because delivery time wasn’t the issue it was the fact I was being promised call backs and no one was giving me info. His back clearly went up as then he went on the attack saying “well did he guarantee it would be in thursday or friday?” To which I said he just told me it would be, so expected it to be unless told differently, I went on to say again If I was being kept in the loop then I would have no reason to call... he then told me that if he told me the delivery was guaranteed then he would listen to the calls, basically calling me out on it, but I said again just email me delivery date as it stands you’ve not confirmed anything is ordered.

So next day got an dry email saying order expected in just under 2 weeks we will notify you when it arrives.

So yeah if it comes across like I’m getting annoyed waiting its because this experience is ****, I wouldn’t buy anything off scan if I had the choice, EVGA doesn’t stock it, USA won’t ship it, so what am I meant to do.

Tell me how an order can be arriving on one day and they are expecting it, to now 2 more weeks...

Never ordered it in the first place and guessed shipping times, then got upset at the customer for asking **** is going on.

Been made to feel like I’m harassing them when all customers want is info and updates, this email is the first time they have got back to me, since I tried to start ordering over 3 weeks ago with them, 5-6 weeks to order a board, erm, ****.

I'm trying to obtain FTW board and no luck in EU, availability of EVGA motherboards in EU is a joke.

Well bit of good news scan.co.uk apparently have stock of z390 dark boards now, they had 5, I’ve bought two so should be 3 left if your want to spend a little more (well double) lol. An option...

Its been a bit of a mission to resolve, to say the least.

They have not listed them yet, but if you call up they now have them in stock, emailed today, 5 total, so will be 3 left... once they list them they might go quick so worth a call tomorrow.

£479 they have told me the price for, which is just evga website price (on a 1.09 exchange rate from euros)

Speak to Ryan in sales.

Any new information about your order? Nordic countries can buy this motherboard, and their stores display availability as five pieces. Interesting where they are sent from.

I decided against it, I thought if I have an issue within the first 30days I can get a refund anyways with the retailer, so thought while they have 5 in stock (well maybe a few left now) just build and see what happens.

I got other stuff to buy so it would have been nice but basically thought sod it.

I said the same thing when i got my x299 Dark. As long as you have warranty support i wouldnt worry about it. I went ahead and bought the extended warranty for mine as well just to be covered. It overclocks like a breeze though.

I dont see any RGB on that board.
Ive never understood people having this mentality. RGB has an off switch. In the event that it just has headers then you dont have to use them.

The Z390 FTW has RGB headers; the heatsinks do not light up.
