@jingiko: Don't worry, you'll love it. I had an Asus R2E two years ago for only a month but it really impressed me despite my "warm-boot" prob, so much so that I am buying this now. I wished I could have just replaced my prob last time. BTW thanx a lot, it was your link that turned me on to the R4E at Newegg.

Looks like there will be a few of us. Just ordered Koolance 370 for chip, gonna see what kind of temps the mobo gives off before any decision there. EK is already well on the way to putting out block for mobo.
 Will take better than a week for the parts to get to me, way out in the boonies here.

I hope you guys know that there's still use tax which means if you order something online from out of state and the company you're purchasing it from doesn't collect the tax you will still have to pay sales tax or use tax in this case on the item(s) purchased.

 
Who collects the "Use tax"?  I ordered probably 8k+ in just computer parts from Amazon this past year and maybe I am completely clueless, but never seen this anywhere, from anyone.  Please enlighten me!

Ah, so it is up to the individual to report this.  Good luck with that.  The aforementioned statement made it sound like you would be charged for it somewhere.

EVGA let this be the first and last Asus product I buy, but I am bit excited  after seeing all the features the R4E has, though.

The choice between Classy and RIVE was a toughie.

ASUS has a much better BIOS and nice additional software which makes me lean toward it.  Sure it doesn't have 100% POSCAP, but I doubt that will help much unless you're using extreme cooling.  

 
Their EFI/BIOS is pretty... but I find the layout to be a pain. I'm quite tired of it too... esp changes that don't always stick and the way some preferences are retained on a saved preset but others aren't.

I do appreciate POSCAPs... but I can't honestly say my Asus board is not nearly as stable as any other EVGA board I've owned. Just personal experience there. Also, the lack of quality support/forums is a major weak spot. 
 
This is not indicative of all experiences, I'm sure... but it's certainly been mine.

While I am super stoked that I have an Asus R4E sitting right behind me while im at work I would have purchased the FTW/Classified had it been available. EVGA has never treated me wrong and has been 110% awesome when it comes to Support and Assistance.
 
I peaked at the Asus forums and it was such a mess. EVGA is such an awesome company with a great community.

I peaked at the Asus forums and it was such a mess. EVGA is such an awesome company with a great community.

I suffered the same end, Isk.  I cannot find the Classy anywhere yet, so I went with the R4E.  If I have any problems though within 30 days, I sure won't have any problem returning it and picking up the Classy when it becomes available.  Now, I don't think I will, but just in case.

I just unboxed this board and OMG this thing is awesome. It looks beautiful and there is so much included. I Can't wait to start playing with it all. The User manual that came with it is so in depth. I hate to say it but it is way better than any other Motherboard manual I have ever recieved and I have a small collection going back to an Asus P4C-800e dlx. (478 board)
 
When I build the system Tuesday I will totally make a Thread in the Mods Rigs Section to show this off.

Yea its the Mini Tyrael statue from this years Blizzcon. Im at work today and its gonna be REAL hard to keep focused thinking about getting this built tomorrow night lol.
