This thread is no longer constructive, too many personal attacks from judgement. Fran always explain's her self when asked. May not be the answer you like to hear, but I see honesty and none of that beating around the bush... In the single year Fran has joined this forum, I have seen nothing but improvement in her maturity and out-look on life from what it used to be. I remember it used to be so hard to read Fran's posts. Problem's in anyone's life is drama. We have all kinds of people that come here for medical advice, auto repair advice and all other kinds of personal problems. Some would say to join a medical forum or go to the doctor for medical advice, the same argument goes for auto repair. Then we have trolls that just love to stir the pot and call people drama queen's, when really they are drama queen's them selves, raising the bar every time they troll.
This is in the general section just like that MLP thread opened by the moderators. I have yet to click on that thread because I have nothing constructive to say and it will remain that way. I don't claim to be perfect either, I know I can troll from time to time if I see the MLP posts in threads other than the one it's designated for.
With that said, everyone has their own problems. Just like a good friend said to me... If you were in a room with a bunch of random people and everyone laid out all of their problems, you wouldn't wanna switch with them. For some people, they've been working with certain issues in their life for quite some time, so it seems under control or not much of an issue on the surface. But you might look at the issue from your perspective and not have a clue how you would be able to take their problems over your own. Take a second to think what it's like to walk in their shoes before you off and say "Well, I would of done it like this, why are you being so stupid." Because if you look at it like that, you are only giving that person your perspective in a life that is not alike their's. There is no reason to kick a person while they are down. My post earlier, mentioning the politics and religion conversation's with her last room mate was to be helpful in understanding people in general... Like what to watch for in her future endeavors.

The best advice ive gotten so far is the "dont be a politition/pearcher" advice. I can bet 100% its probably because Im a loud and proud atheist that im on the street in this situation. Roomate who owned the place was a religious person, but me far from it and im "loud and proud" about it.

Amen. People just HAVE to be heard even if that means taking someone down with them. Everyone talks about priorities in here? Well apparently all of your priorities revolve around coming in here and pointing out the flaws of others. Good path to take I guess eh?

This is a joke. Some people are posting here because they sincerely care and want to help, but if someone isnt willing to help themselves then what's the point? I have heard a lot of good advice on this forum that has just been thrown back into their face, and if you don't want to hear it, then don't post all this stuff about your personal life in a computer forum. Nasty Out.

Nasty Out. You think this is frustrating? A few weeks ago I talked to a convicted felon that has been out of Jail for 3 years and cannot get a job. Yet, he is able to get onto the internet and owns a PC, tablet or phone. He claims he digs into dumpsters for recyclables to pay for his cigarette addiction. Then on his free time, he spends every bit of it talking about how our current president is the reason why he can't get a job. Then when given even the smallest bit of advice on how to get back on his feet, he calls them stupid and not informed.

Roomate who owned the place was a religious person, but me far from it and im "loud and proud" about it. Then learn to shut up. No offense intended, but sometimes you just have to swallow your pride and keep your mouth shut, otherwise you'll just stir up a storm, especially with religion. Do not ever talk religion with anyone other than those you trust, a roommate is far from a good person to talk to. Nobody cares if you're transgender, gay, lesbian, black, white, Chinese, Christian, Catholic, Muslim, or atheist... Right up until you let them know you are. If you keep things like religion, gender info, life stories, and politics to yourself and just talk about other things, you'll be fine without being anti-social. With what I've seen, you are indeed very loud and proud, and it will be your downfall unless you learn self-control and picking your battles. I know this post may come off as harsh, but I agree with whitnasty. You waste your time replying to attacks and useless posts, yet you skim over the ones that are intended to be helpful. (Mine included.) You really want my advice? Stop posting for an hour, and reread the good posts in this thread. Shut up, think more before speaking or acting, lose the sense of pride and entitlement, get your priorities in order. Gaming should even be on your mental radar if you're on the streets for real. *Pay special attention to this* If you don't let people know, they won't know. If you don't let people learn things about you, they won't. If you are "loud and proud" then society will tear you down and eat you up. I'm done with this thread, you get some of the best advice you can get and you ignore it. Until you realize just how horrible things are now, and how good they could be if you made the effort to change yourself and your conditions, you'll never succeed. You are the only one with the power to change your life, but you ignore it and focus on the failures of your past. Until you learn to look to the future and plan for it instead of wallowing in the past, you will never succeed. Good luck.

I think this post has run it's course. It's no longer on topic and too much to clean up.
