Exactly. You should blame the review sites that gave the false info on this instead of blaming EVGA. Not their fault if some reviewers didn't bothered to read the fine prints and just puked wrong infos all over the place.

Finally some sane people. I saw the review as well. I'm not mad that my 970 FTW isn't coming with any of it. It's not EVGA's fault the review site screwed up and made it look like USA is included.

At the end of the day, its unfortunate but EU people do pay more for the card and so its probably just to lessen the blow for them. The EU does have more strict warranty laws which is something I wish the US had more of in terms of consumer protection.
In any case, the 3 year warranty is pretty good and in most cases people opt to replace their cards earlier than that anyway.
if all else fails and you plan to keep the card for longer than 3 years..buy the extended warranty.

I am from Europe, so I DO blame EVGA. And I also blame them for ignoring their customers. Really makes me rethink my future setups. I currently have 4 PC's and all use EVGA for their videocard needs. I already moved to a different brand in regards to motherboards, because they messed that up for me in the past as well. Oh well...

EVGA's new policy; don't care about the customer and leave them in the dark. Apparently, they don't care if we send the cards back and go for a different brand. ...otherwise, we would have been kept up to date.

When I bought mine (ACX 2.0 970 SSC), I wasn't aware that they even planned any backplates for the 970s. Even if EVGA doesn't send me a free one, I'll probably just get one from EK when I watercool. EK is still working on the ACX 970 waterblocks, so they're not released yet.

Which 970 did you get? I believe some models (like the reference blower models) are not included.
