That's very generous covering US as well. Nice one EVGA!  Question for EVGA : promotion is only for the 970 ACX cards. I purchased the 970SC non-ACX 04G-P4-1972-KR. doh. Will the same backplates fit the non-ACX cards? I would like to purchase one if they do... when they become available. Same for my 2 x 980SC non-ACX cards. Also kinda wondering why the non-ACX cards are not included in the promotion, not that I'm expecting anything.

Ya'll rock, I will register tomorrow. I purchased it day one from your website and couldn't be happier with it. Everything at 1080p Ultra 4xMSAA or better runs at 90fps, it is absolutely AMAZING! And silent to boot! Haven't had any of the coil whine or fan noise or whatnot others have complained about. In fact, I have NEVER heard it on any card I've owned from EVGA. And I've owned quite a few...anyway good job, you didn't have to do this but it is what I would have done. I salute you.

I was happy until I saw: "Backplates will start shipping approximately mid-November." Oh well. Will sell the videocards before that. Will also sell the backplates seperately I guess. But, also something positive it now also includes the FTW for backplates. That's positive. Still don't understand why it took over 2 weeks to get an answer/solution though.

This is totally unfair for my situation. I preordered the: - 04G-P4-0974-KR (EVGA 970 ACX
Because I do not reside in North America I am not eligible for the free back plate. They should be shipping backplates for registered Australian users for their support of EVGA's Product. Depending on the cost of the backplate itself, I am willing to pay additional postage fees to ship it to Australia. I'm hoping for an EVGA support person to help resolve my issue.

 LOL unreal. Yes, because the card is absolutely useless without the backplate, you must sell it RIGHT NOW. You can sell the card to me bnib, I'll give you $50. One has to wonder why the heck you purchased the card(s) in the first place.

Your purchase date was listed as 9/18 (possibly this was the case in your area), however they weren't available until 9/19 which is how the programming is. I have updated your purchase date and you can now request. Thanks, Rob

I'm in the step up programme for the 970 FTW so this is great news. Glad I went with EVGA when I bought my 770. Thanks Rob and all the other guys and gals at EVGA.

Thanks for going through with this EVGA! Without the back plate the card feels very flimsy and it causes something to hit the fan resulting in an annoying clicking noise.

No love for my model (04G-P4-1972-KR). Oh well... hopefully they will make ones for the blower models later. I honestly wouldn't mind paying for one since it bugs me to look at naked PCBs anymore.
