What you guys think will be the minimum psu for a 3080ti? Would an rm650x be sufficient with some undervolting?

You would think.  I wonder if it will get SLI - it should.

yeah RTX 3080Ti should have ability for NVLink, as did the RTX 2080Ti's etc...imho.
These cards are already being shipped though, according to rumors' that they been spotted in boxes.

Just saw news of a leak of the 3080 ti mining performance of 1182 mh/s hopefully, it's without the anti-mining driver. It'll probably be circumnavigated somehow anyways. Personally, if I manage to get my hands on one I will try to mine with it. Who can say no to an extra $378 a month? It would pay for itself in 3 months and after that my rent. It sucks cuz I can't be the only one thinking this, which means the stock is definitely going to suck. Unless you can manage to get lucky on the launch you'll probably be waiting in a long line. Personally wish I got on the mining train about a year ago when GPUs were easy to come by. The reason we have such a shortage is 100% mining, even if we didn't have supply issues miners would buy an infinite amount of GPUs if they knew it would only take 3 months to break even.

Actually the 3080ti is probably already out, but the scalpers are probably intercepting not only all the cards but also the announcements as well (some how or another!) 

I have a mental image of scalpers stealing entire shipping containers out of LA port lol.

I'm long overdue for a refresh. I have a GTX470 that I would like to replace with a 3080 Ti if possible. I am hoping that the new ASIC miners from Bitmain help alleviate some of the demand for these 30 series cards. Hopefully Graphically Challenged is correct and Nvidia has been stocking up on dies for this release. Time will tell I suppose. 

Yah there are photos floating around of 3080ti's on a crate. Hard to imagine many of those getting to gamers.

Here's an article talking about the new ASIC miner that Bitmain is coming out with. This thing is supposed to have an equivalent hash rate of 32 RTX 3080s. No pricing information has been released as of yet but if it comes in at or below $30k for one of these miners that could really help alleviate the demand for these graphics cards.
