Seems there is no rush for the 3080Ti when the queues for the 3080 are so far backed up.

Personally I'm not holding out hope for any normalization of the market until Q4 2021. The one thing people need to remember is:
EVGA does not manufacture a single die. Every single one is provided contractually by Nvidia. They, meaning EVGA, have essentially zero control over how many die are produced and limited contractual control over allotments. In other words, they are wholly dependent upon Nvidia. There is no second sourcing for GPU die.
This is very true. I suspect supply issues then are on nVidia.

Yeah but I would think that would backfire and be completely demoralizing to see how far of a queue it is, knowing this thing seems to move only a couple at a time.

Hope there is an announcement ahead of time of when the EVGA queue will start for the 3080ti and 3070ti. It would suck if the announcement and the queue started at the same time so that people who are at work or can't check their phones constantly get beat to the punch.

I've been waiting for a regular non-Ti 3080 for 7 months, still no luck. At this point, I'm not sure I'll ever get any type of 30-series card between the bots and scalpers getting all of the inventory.

Hmm... I don't think they already got their hands on the cards, I think they are close to doing that, maybe companies are preparing to ship or are shipping it, but don't think they already got it. I don't think they want to put that much attention into it, and just do a quick review, results and like that, not a complete teardown how GN, Steve Burke does. We will see it.
I think we are close to a market launch, it has been postponed long enough. Could be June, July, most likely few stocks and paper launch, and all the rest going to scalpers miners.
The 3000 series will continue and I think for a long time, even with 4000 launches, when they need to change the manufacturing procedure in order to fix the mining craze and the silicon issues. Still, due to all the issues, I believe the 3000 series will last 1 more year rather than previous GPUs. So I really don't expect anything new releasing until 2023.

Just hope this card doesn't get scalped to oblivion. I am "gaming" on an old thin client with core i3 with integrated graphics on a 38inch LG widescreen. And i can tell you that does not work out well.......
