Hello everyone, some days ago i installed PX1 again, at first launch PX1 updated the ICX firmware of my fans, since i have issues. Yesterday while gaming i noticed a really high temp, around 75-80c, normally my card stays around 60-65c, when i opened PX1 i've seen: FAN1: 95% FAN2: 0% FAN3: 0% To solve the issue i had to do: turn off Fan auto mode -> Apply -> Turn on Fan auto mode -> Apply Then all fans started and temp go down to around 60c I need to repeat this procedure at every reboot since, Never had this issue before, also the "OC switch" on the card is on Any idea ? Thanks.

did you also use the "Save button" ? Are the 3 fans "linked" (chain Icon "solid chain link" or "broken chain link") set a custom fan curve or Fixed RPM & save to a profile number

Sajin Go back to older firmware...
Note: Might need to contact bmgjet as the software is suppose to only work with 30 series cards.
Thanks ! So this is a known issue ? I'll try to contact bmgjet

No, but if the issue only started after a firmware update then going back to an older firmware may help.

Sounds like classic Precision bug. What happens if you click "default" and close Precision? Do the fans still remain dead under load?

This is what i did, for now the issue not showed up again, maybe a nividia driver issue too ? I upgraded to 461.81 Hotfix recently. I'll update the post if the issue came back. When the issue occured, the only way to start FAN 2&3 was to click "default" and "Apply" on PX1 then i can close PX1 and fans are working correctly.

My suggestion, just remove Precision. It will almost never do what you want it to do consistently, and it will almost always introduce bugs

Working as expected/just fine on my 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra. At idle and when using the onboard fan control (fan curve control disabled in PX1), fans #2 & #3 are expected to be at 0%/RPM as long as temps remain low. Sometimes, you can inadvertently set them to 0, but in that case, resetting to default should correct that. I think that's why the OP seems to have things fixed. :)

I'm glad it works for you. However, I am going to call you out for saying that this is probably user error. That's an irresponsible claim. It's not "you can inadvertently set them to 0", it's "Precision's bugs set them to 0". I have seen a lot of nasty things with Precision X1, with different versions and different drivers, such as - Fans not spinning - Fan profile following a custom curve, but the curve constantly resets - Fans not recognized, usually happens when Fan #4 is connected - Overclock profile not loading, or loading while keeping the sliders at 0, giving the user the false belief it didn't load I thought that maybe this is an OS issue, so I clean installed windows, and while I haven't had fan control issues with the clean install, the moment I saw it started messing up the OC profile I just got rid of it. And I'm definitely not the only one. The forum is filled with those issues.

Easy there...I'm merely saying that it can be inadvertently set...it happens to many folks, including myself. Usually a press of the 'Default' button corrects it, as the OP has indicated. I'm not downplaying the issues you are having, but don't assume people are being malicious just because they may not be seeing the same issues you are. Have you contacted EVGA directly with your issues?
