They must be missing something to complete the shipments. Maybe some accessory piece. Maybe boxes or packing. Maybe the cards themselves could even be held up in customs.
I’m certain they will ship as soon as they possibly can. Hopefully today but Jacob said he’ll give an update today which sounds like they might even be shipping a little later. With the messages from last week thinking they would start to ship possibly even last Thursday, it’s got to be something unexpected and last minute. Hopefully also something small and easy to resolve.
We’ll hopefully know more today.

If we never had delays before on the other SKU's, I would be hopeful they would ship out today but since that hasn't happened, expect this SKU to be delayed as well. Don't get me wrong, I wish you all the best but chances on a delay are high imho. Maybe only a few people will get them today. Hope I'm wrong.

I'm hopeful they ship sometime this week. Since they were so close to shipping & other AIBs have shipped custom PCBs I'm thinking the delay was something small. I don't think they'll ship today, but hopefully this week.

I hear you there, my next CPU will not be HEDT. I have a 6850K, bought when it was new over 2 years ago, because I went SLI with two 1080s. It was at that time that I found out what a crap show SLI had become. I thought about upgrading to the 9900k with the 2080 ti coming out, but I don't seem to get any bottle necks with my current 6850k so I'll probably hold off until I start seeing some bottlenecks with that CPU. Now, if I plug in my 2080 ti FTW3, when it finally arrives, and I start seeing CPU bottle necks, I'll do a system upgrade with a new CPU. But I'm hoping to hold off on that till at least we see the 10 nm desktop CPUs from Intel, or the 7 nm desktop CPUs from AMD.

Sounds like you have a decent set up already. I'm currently sitting on a Haswell i5-4670K & GTX760s in SLI. Way beyond time to upgrade, so I'm trying to build a beast before the year is up and make uncle sam pay for it. If I was able to hold out I would definitely have waited to see what the Red Team was releasing in the next 6 months...and also wait for the next nVidia release where Ray Tracing will be ready for Prime Time, but I need some new tech in my life lol.

It's only a bank holiday. Most businesses in California actually don't celebrate Columbus Day anymore. They might be closed though. Not sure. Jacob did say they would have more info today too. So who knows. I'm still thinking positive thoughts.

No kidding lol....I've been planning since late last year and with ordering the chip today I have all of the major areas covered. Just need to pick up a case, beefier psu that what I originally bought, a USB PCIe card & a couple other small things...but nothing that's left to get besides the case & PSU is over $100 Well...Jacob sent out a tweet about z390 stuff, so hopefully he will put something in here soon.
