It’s one of the newest updates in windows. I think it was kB 4100037 or something close to that. Remove it, and the overclocks seem to work after that. Nope...sorry. RS5 is completely past that. As far as RS5 is concerned the mcupdate_genuineintel.dll that is updated with the carpy code is integrated. So there is nothing to remove, to uninstall. The fix now is it take ownership of that file, rename or delete it and replace it with a version prior to the patch. I used the July version in SXS backup. Works perfect. It is also looking like the October Release of Window 10 to RTM is being delayed for lots of issues. Known as Windows 10 Redstone 5 Version 1809. But then we will all have to wait and see.
