The Mountain Men have led in PPD per folder for as long as I can remember...not sure what goes on in those mountains, but keep it up!

Alright, I am winding down my main PC so that I can game on it rather than using a 14” laptop. I will leave my folding rig running. P.S. I placed my folding rig in the garage with a high velocity fan on the GPU’s and the window was open behind my main PC for the duration of the event :-) everything stayed CCOOLLDD maxing out around 60c at the hottest point of the entire competition.

Wondering if I'll make it to 60m for the TZC by midnight.. it's going to be real close. I'll give my GPU a well-earned rest after this, replace my PSU and redo some cabling in preparation for a water loop, and then finally give this replacement 3090 (had to RMA the first one) some games to chew on and see how it goes. It pulled 14,410 on Port Royal, and has been chugging through the TZC 24/7 (albeit at a -125MHz underclock), so it's looking promising.

Apparently (or maybe 12:01am 12/30/2020), per this post from 5 hours ago: troy8d While the contest may end at midnight tonight, the supply of WUs to fold never ends!

It ends tonight? RIP... and Mountain would've won the "most PPD per folder" by more if I had something that I could fold on 24/7 :-P Not a lot more but more :-P Mine wasn't sandbagging it was legit not having any idea how much PPD this GPU would do, but I definitely went way too low on my estimated 500k lol

Not at all. It was just by chance I noticed that post - I thought it was all day tomorrow (12/30) as well.

I don't know but: 2021 is only 2 days away so theoretically the 2021 TZC... I've been wanting to bring back the Folding M@Dness contest - been quite a while since we ran that one

I think I'm going to leave it up and try to hit 4 mil. Just remembered it's my short day at work, so it'll only be about 3-4 hours past midnight not 7-8.

Did you guys know that bcav went on a 1 year vacation from the world of forums folding and crunching? I believe he will be back right on time around Jan 1. True to his word he left about the first of the year. Now the only thing he didn't plan on was the pandemic so I really hope he's okay. He is missed on the crunching side sorely.
