1080ti with Removed Backplate -- How To Clean before putting Backplate back on?

Hello! I took the backplate off my 1080ti to keep temperatures down in my rig with two other 1080tis. It worked well but I upgraded to a 3090 and now I am ready to sell these. I was wondering what would be the best way to clean the dust off the areas that had the adhesive before putting the backplate back on? [I used canned air already] Or is it not necessary? Haven't done this before, let me know and thanks! :)

    A little alcohol should help, but it won't completely clean it.

    Are you putting thermal pads back on?
