I'd say 1440P. I made the mistake to buy a 1080P 144Hz monitor last year as I have only a GTX 1060, but hopefully I'll cope an RTX 3070Ti which will be quite the waste at 1080P now. Wish I went for 1440P from get go. Don't make the same mistake as me.

1440p, it'll outlast your GPU. If 4k is the new meta in a few years time, you can use that 1440p as a second monitor, or flip it. There's been so many 1080ps made, and they look so bad in comparison(imho), noone's going to want to look at 1080ps.
But if you had told me ten years ago people would still be gaming on 1080ps in 2021 I would never have believed you.

1440p for sure. You may not be able to max out FPS for every new game at 1440p using the 3060Ti. But you will have the monitor longer than the gpu. Less likely to need to upgrade later if you get the 1440p

You won't regret going 1440p. Your current card can run it pretty well and it will be new standard for everything but esports. Your next card will be able to crush 1440p.

Duh get the 1440p. Your gpu is more than capable. Also 1440p monitors are so cheap.
Unless you're playing crysis remastered idk.

1440p should be a fine with a 3060 ti w/ 8GB VRAM.

While still a "60" card, it's more than capable of running 1440p, just not at max settings for most games. If you want the best 1440p card try to get a 3070.
