itzamemer here is a photo of my firestrike score i was having a problem with my internet so it wasnt validated but these are the scores you should be getting with your specs. Sorry about the photo i had to edit it to finally get it to upload but thats with a I7 6700k and the 1080Ti sc black edition so almost the same as your gpu/cpu combo. This was done with no overclock on gpu or cpu so you should score over 21,000 and your graphics score should be around 29,000 or so.


A link to your Score works best, this way it can be compared between different Computers, and to see what your hardware is and settings.
Sorry bcavnaugh I'm having trouble getting anything attached to my post I just thought this would give the OP something to compare to that's why I listed my gpu/cpu
because he has a 7700k and I have 6700k
not a whole lot of difference there and the same gpu SC Black Ti. Score wasn't validated because my internet wasn't working so I couldn't attach link.

I got advised by EVGA support to get it tested/replace it so I am doing just that. Thanks all for your input.

I have received my new card and all in all much happier. It was indeed a hardware fault.
Witcher 3 on highest settings has gone from ~70fps average to ~120fps average on my 1080p monitor that is.

cloiselle1 since I posted a few times on this one I'll say it was because the card was underperforming 18,000 for a graphics score on firestrike that should be around 30,000 for a 1080Ti I wouldn't want to pay for a 1080Ti and get the performance of a 1070 which if i recall was about what my 1070 ftw scored
