It's worth it though, it's a free upgrade (unless you get a more expensive card) no one else does that

alavptAlthough I submitted my step-up request earlier than yours = 03/10/2017 @ 11.05AM PST, I'm still waiting to receive the Step 2 confirmation email...

Sorry, my bad. I put the wrong time zone. I'm actually 11:00AM PST. I'm going to edit it to correct.

You won't get the free games

Under frequently asked questions it says:

Does my Step-up card qualify for any game promotions?
No - Step-Up cards are sent as new cards, but do not qualify for any game promotions.

Mine HAS BEEN SHIPPED..... here's that time line. Had to check the site since it states you won't get an email until after 6pm PST. But I never received it a email.
Successfully submitted step 1 = 03/10/2017 @ 1:00pm local
Upload Invoice Step 2 = Uploaded 3:00PM
Submit Payment Step 3 = 7:00PM
Ship original GPU to EVGA Step 4 = Shipped to EVGA 2Day Air 3/10/17 Delivered 3/14
Stepped up GPU shipped to end user Step 5 = SHIPPED 3/14
Should get it Friday just in time for Mass Effect early access.

1pm pst?

EST... I'm on the east coast. But in their email, when you reach the payment/ship to them process they say they will email you tracking and shipping information after 6PM PST the day your card ships. I didn't get the email until 12noon today. But the shipping numbers were on my step up page when I woke this morning. So keep checking their site at times.

Re: 1080 TI FE Step Up Thread 2017/03/15 16:44:30 (permalink)
I considered stepping up from my 1080 FTW2, but sold it and bought the FE from Newegg for a few reasons:

1) Although I was very lucky to move through the ACX>ICX upgrade so quickly (had it in-hand by Feb 27th), I didn't want to take the chance with the FE step up queue, knowing it could take months depending on demand and site lag.   I'm happy for those who got in quickly.

2) Since one can't step up from a step up, I wanted to have the ability to step up to possibly a Black Edition (if made available) if an EVGA 1080 Ti hybrid water cooler kit isn't announced before my 90 days is up.

3) I wanted the free copy of For Honor. :)

I'm thrilled to see many people getting the opportunity to get the FE via step up.  I loved my FTW2 (especially the quiet cooler), but I couldn't ignore the performance boost which will serve me well for at least a few years.

If it helps clarify for anyone else, mine said Action Required and "Upload Invoice" in red on the My Products pages between steps for a couple hours. I'm sure it was something that needed to be done manually while they were in the checking invoice stage of the Step Up for us ICX people. I checked back later in the day and that was gone and I got the shipping email.

They've had my card since about 9am PST. What's the average turnaround been for anyone that has gotten their shipped back and tracking number? Was hoping they'd have it shipped by tomorrow but wasn't sure how long it's been taking them to ship it after they receive your old card.

Mine was shipped out next day. They say anywhere from 1-3 days but I imagine 3 is extreme.

Cool.  Hopefully mine will ship out by morning.  I just wished I had picked something other than standard ground shipping.  My block will be here tomorrow so the earlier the better.  I'm hoping for next Friday but any earlier will be a plus.  Going by UPS's ground map from their zip code to mine is 4 days so even if it ships out Friday instead of tomorrow, I should get it by Thursday or Friday.

Should get here overnight using regular Ground shipping (pays to live in SoCal sometimes, all other times I pay dearly haha)

Yeah, if you didn't get in within the first 15 to 20 minutes after the servers came back up at around 10:24AM PST then you will probably be in the second wave of shipments.  From all I've seen so far anyone that didn't get in before 10:45 or so, you won't be in the first wave.  I was very fortunate to get in within 45 seconds of the servers going back up at 10:24ish.  I had my RMA email within 4 hours after that.

Edit:  3PM EST, then that would be over an hour and a half after the servers came back up.  You probably won't get in even on the second wave, probably the 3rd.  Hope I'm wrong though.

3pm? That's 2 hours after release, that 2 hours could mean 2+ weeks

I don't know if this is a positive note, but I originally submitted my step up request on 03/10/2017 at 12:45 PM EST.  I tend to check once a day on the status and today it shows under "Step-Up Queue" a blank box instead of saying "Pending" like it has done for the past few days.  Also near the bottom it where "Next Step" is it displays "Awaiting Approval", I'm not sure if it always said that but I feel like that's something new.  I'm hopeful that it means something or could just be a glitch in the system.

I dont understand.... If FE start to sell (same time in the world) at 19:00 in Spain (CET) = 2pm EST, how you done start step up 1:15 hours after (12:45pm est)

I dont understand this...
