after you start step up they will send an email for step 2 about up loading an invoice if you have not already, and or change/confirm you shipping address is correct. then you pay after they confirm they have one in stock on step 3

nebraska red 2ND Day Air, Big Spender!!! Looks like you'll get it first. Congrats.
I was actually banking on them taking Monday as delivery then a full three days afterwords, then generating the tracking number Thursday and sending to UPS Friday. I was banking on getting it Monday with 2 day air at latest (and I wanted them Monday latest) so I chose 2 day... Once again, EVGA amazes me. The whole 1080 Ti Step Up is just top-notch - allocating units at release for Step Up (of an item that was guaranteed to be limited availability), resetting the ICX upgrade and leaving it up during the night of the 1080 Ti release announcement, extending Step Up for Classified, having 1080 Ti available as a Step Up at the minute of release.... And now this crazy "test it and ship it like you mean it" kind of turnaround... I am 110% impressed. If I ever have to do an RMA, I hope it's through EVGA :D

Thank you. I was beginning to wonder. So I am assuming that their first shipment of cards got wiped out instantly. Any idea when they are getting the next shipment in ??

hard to know since step up takes a back seat to people who are buying new. Hopfuly it shouldn't be to long though as the 1080ti seems to have a lot better stock then the 1080 was

I know WCCFTech is not the most reliable source of information, but they got this article saying that the GTX 1080 Ti FE is sold out and that the next batch is coming march 25th. As usual, take everything said with a grain of salt.

OK, I just checked out their page. I read that article too. I mean it makes total sense. Most people treat brand new flagship GPU's from nvidia like people treat Iphones on release day. Sold out in seconds like normal. Its not a big deal though. I just want to make sure all of my ducks are in order so that I can actually get one.

I think the queue would be very long mainly due to the iCX upgrade which allowed a lot of people to get in for the Ti which was not an option during 980 Ti to 1080 and still took months for some people. People who have not yet joined the queue should really do so and fast, only confirmed batch who got their step-ups are the one who requested within 30 mins.

Grain of salt taken. I started my Step-Up the day after EVGA released it. How long does it normally take them to restock? They ridiculously underestimated the demand. This card was almost as hyped if not more than the 10 Series release. Smh. Patience is a virtue I suppose.

As I could see, none of the Europeans. Or the ones who did get through step 2 or 3 don't write here. :)

Been following this thread closely for the past few days... Not seen an explicit mention of a EU user that got past step 2 yet.

So you're getting a 1080p monitor? 2k refers to the pixel width, 1440p monitors are 2560 pixels wide, so 1440p is 2.5k

That's not quite right, as side by side 1080p does not make it 4K. If 4K means "four times the pixels of Full HD", then 2K could be "two times the pixels of Full HD", which even 1440p doesn't achieve. I believe there is no clear definition of what 2K means, it's just a marketing term, nothing more...
