Would it be possible to have 1 waterblock for 2 cards? Or like this (Please excuse my crappy paint picture) If that's possible with my 2 GTX480's .. I'd be interested in buying one if it didn't cost my left leg :p edit; sorry for going off topic - if you want to continue this feel free to pm me :D

Anything is possible with MS Paint. I already made something like you speak of. Just need thicker plastic, and the exact spacing of the PCI-E slots. Check this out: http://forums.evga.com/fb.ashx?m=1485440

loveha That is going to be the deal breaker then. Needs to be compatible with it. Backtracking a little bit, but the customer recently let me know that he wanted all copper ones, so I will be designing them from scratch. MOAR copper!

May need to make him a Copper Pillar to hold this thing in the PCIe slot lo.

The design process isn't exactly swift, but measuring can be. I could send your card back after the initial measurements and a quick draft of the card. Then when the time comes to prototype I will likely need it back to test fit & such. Do you have a backup card to use in the meantime? I have a 9800 GTX+ that I could "cross ship" if its the only card you have.

Since it is roughly the same size as a 580, can you PM me on how much a full copper would cost?

That oblong hole is just to remove mass and cut down on weight, and for aesthetics. Nothing more. Maybe to make it easier to get a handle on?

Gratuitous, the unsung hero whom I can't praise enough. What has taken me weeks to handjam lines of code can now be done in minutes. There is much more for me to learn, but some foundations have finally been laid down. I am forever grateful. A super rough cut finally finished: Still have to do the O-ring, holes, and the back of the card. Then test fit it. Probably test fit first after I drill some holes in the back which will be concentric with the holes of the card. This thing took HOURS to cut. Only because I had the machine set to cut copper. It would have taken minutes, but it gave me idea on how inefficient the toolpaths that the computer generated were. It kept jumping from one side to the other and wasting time during the process. More of a personal development that I must work on in order to make the CAM process more efficient. Still beats weeks of coding.

crazyg0od33 is there an idea on cost for one of these if I were to want one for a second 580 im getting? I am starting to get an idea, but these will not be inexpensive. That whole chunk before you will be 100% Cu110. Pure copper (99.9%) I don't have the resources of real block makers, but I am far more open to suggestions, and customization. May have to trim a "hair" off the underside of that hook section, but the SLI connector fits underneath. Not a 100% test fit, but I just put it over the card to see how it looked. Excuse the rough plastic, its just a rapid prototype (if rapid is a good choice of words?)
