 I've been looking at these and trying to figure out if there is any kind of pattern. Below, I have added the other info from the movies that I was working with.

Other than the quotes of 1 and 5 both being by Elijah and the second movie being 4 years before the first, I can't see anything as a pattern. Anybody have any other helpful info that might make a pattern?

Also that awards thing could be important. I'll look up which awards were given to which movies and list them in a subsequent edit.

Ohhh yeah that could be it. Since a lot of people posted that last one from the Ice Storm, I'll take the first PM's title and see if I can turn it into anything

Xavier, did TM change that post or is that exactly what you posted? Those links in the text look suspicious.
 
As far as the PM title thing goes, I don't think that's it. The first PM had quotes from Red October and one of the other movies on the list. The Red October quote was in the title and the other quote was in the body

I think Tropicks has the right idea.  A single post with all 10 pics would be "the perfect 10" Personally don't have The Ice Storm.

Good thinking hopefully this gets us another clue
