Corsair 5000X PC case displaying both Sapele and Teak wooden PC case panels. This is how the PC case looks with the normal glass panels versus the look of the wooden PC case panels. The wooden PC case panels breathe new life into the 5000 series case. Which wooden color do you prefer? Picture 1: Glass Picture 2: Sapele* Picture 3: Teak* *There is also a bamboo color but those are out of stock on the Corsair website.

B0baganoosh The darker one (teak?).
Good call. I left the teak set on the 5000X case for now.

I agree. If I get bored I can change over to the Sapele wood frame.

Love those panels. Are they laminate? Wish they'd make them for the 7000X. I don't think they even have them in the US - appears to be EU only. I'm kind of tempted to buy a replacement tempered glass front panel and use the fittings from that and make a wooden one, but I don't really have the tools for it. And yes, teak is my preferred of the three.

They are available in the USA: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/pc-components-accessories/cc-8900681/5000-series-wooden-pc-case-panel-teak The panels appear to be solid wood with laser cutting.

Thanks. Width is the same as the 7000X, unfortunately height comes up about 80mm short. I suppose I could get the 7000D Airflow front panel (fits 7000X as well), take it to a laser cutter and see it they could duplicate it in teak. Meh. Probably cheaper to just buy some veneer and cut it myself, or stick with what I have (tempered glass) and hope Corsair make a wood panel for the 7000X at some point, lol. Looks great though, enjoy!

That's a good question. I have to assume there is more airflow.

That looks very nice. I feel like it has a 70s-80s vibe. It's almost what PCs should have looked like back then. Like how the Atari 2600s used to be.

I think the wood panels give the PC a little more warmth.
