after installing the latest drivers from NV. I can no longer boot into windows. my comp freezes on win logo. remove gpu and boot using on board gpu. boots fine. I have 2 660s and both are doing the same. I have had it booted on a cpl of occasions and everything goes weird. so now I cant even boot with 660 attached to my MB.
any idea's what's happened or how to resolve?

sorry forgot to mention. if I do a clean install of windows with the 660 installed on board. it works fine until I install NV drivers.

If you haven't done so yet I would recommend booting into Safe Mode, remove the drivers, and then boot into normal Windows and try installing an older version of the driver. It's possible that some configuration of hardware and software is causing issues with the newest driver, so I'd like you to go back a few versions to see if you still experience problems. If you do, please e-mail us at support@evga.com and we should be able to provide additional troubleshooting.

win 10 x64 driver version 382.53 I would revert back but I did a clean install :( don't know were I can get older ver from. further to what ive said. I was starting to suspect my mb, so I have now moved gpu unit to new mb and setup again. drivers failed to install again. it started and then when normally it jumps to use new drivers. all I get is a black screen. if I try to use oc scanner it fails after 10 secs saying nv driver has failed. windows updated the drivers no problem,when I come to install 382.53 so I can play a game. that needs latest drivers to function correctly.

same issue two separate gpus in 2 different systems :( has any one got older ver of drivers I can get :) ......................................... got 382.33 that was working. so I will try this one now.

I have had both pc's running on 382.33 no problems. one that wouldn't except 382.53 has now excepted it after updating it again. weird!

But you did reinstall the OS so all bets are off are they not? Also you do need the PhysX Driver. I have not installed NVIDIA's HD Audio Drivers in 4 or 5 Years now. I Install only the Graphics & PhysX Drivers.

this was happening on my os, on a clean os. so your assumption is as good as any.
I have now got it working on my original os. I'm wasn't about to get rid, if it wasn't a issue with my os. turns out it wasn't

i will try this, after i disable automatic driver install, having the same issue with a gtx 580 on a x58 classified.
