honestly ive always been very against scalping. i waited it out this long cause i thought maybe something would break or if i was hitting f5 as soon as the launch started maybe id get a good spot.. but everytime i took the time and dedicated it to get a gpu it was nothing but uncalled for stress. all of us have felt it trying to get. i dunno about you guys but at this point 1500 above msrp doesnt look so bad when someone can actually get it for you

I have seen a lot of spam posts to get to 100.
I have to hand it to you, you're the first one to complain their way to 100.
50 posts today telling us you're going to buy a card from a scalper cause it would be cheaper in the long run accounting for your time.
You've been on here for hours and hours today complaining, you could buy two cards with the time spent complaining on here. We get it, you're not happy and a scalper has cards in stock.
Go to E-bay and buy a card already. geeeeez

hilarious as i have several evga products registered. even a couple that arent. do i own alot of evga? no. i have the z15 keyboard and the x17 mouse, one g5 850 psu and one g3 850.. one 240 aio and one 280 aio. all still under warranty all with receipts. any evga employee is welcome to check to verify . joined the elite because a friend mentioned it would be beneficial if was going to continue buying evga . ill also be registering a 3080 very soon since i just picked up a ftw3 ultra gaming 3080. i tried to hold out but my time is worth more than 100s and 100s of hrs skimming sites hopin for a card. lol would of it been nice to not spend the extra 1500 on the card. yeah lol of course. but payng 1500 more to get it years earlier than others seems like a legit trade off at this point with no clear site of this getting better ya know. everyone is allowed to do what they want in this time. we all gotta make those choices

I think Im the second person next in the 3080ti queue going by the recent EVGA tracker lists, that and Im like 30 secs from the last entry so I doubt many people got in within that 30 seconds, anyway perseverance will prevail if you don't give up, I had to fight for 45min straight, thats refreshing, opening and closing my browser, trying different browsers, trying different direct links to the page, and eventually I managed to wiggle in, doesn't help that the damn site kept crashing, still though I managed to come out of it, all I can say is just be prepared, its pretty much a war when it comes to trying to get a GPU even if you are elite.

knight what card? i dunno if have noticed but other than the ftw3 ultra air cooled nothing is moving much. maybe a few seconds a week if we are lucky.. by that calculation you are about 10 weeks from a card unless its the ftw3 aircooled. then maybe 2 to 4 weeks. hopefully lol. i just hope they dont lose steam like the other cards.. seeing 3080s from September worrys me

lol dang lucky man.. lol i literally only got a good spot on the only 3080ti not moving haha. thats my luck bro. all the others i was locked out for quite some time. prob some of the most stressful hrs of my life. had to of sprouted atleast a hand full of gray hair just hitting f5 lmfao. but i do hope the ftw3 ultra hybrid moves soon.. i don't know why but i have always wanted a hybrid.. it was between this and the aorus extreme aio 3080.. and i trust evga more. but gigabyte hasn't let me down yet either.. both cards im sure are a unicorn and even a myth for some haha.

I tried to get a 2080 ti from evga. I couldn't get one. I tried to get a 3080 or 3090. I had a queue since September. I Canceled it and queued for a 3080 ti. Maybe one day I will actually manage to buy a card from evga.
I am in queue at 6/3 9:43am for the 3080ti ftw3. At the rate it's going it seem like it could take half a year before they that far through the queue and that's like 3 hours into day one. It's not really their fault but it sucks.

I've felt like that for over a year. I refuse to pay double MSRP or more for a GPU.

For the vanillia 3070 and the 3060 Ti tracking ques, it looks like I'm only a few days away from each model now. For instance the FTW3 3060ti is Dec 8th now, I'm at Dec 12. Am I still looking at months? or weeks?

Don't buy from them.
If you do, you're actually part of the problem.

If you do, you're actually part of the problem.
It's worse than that. Scalpers cause the MSRP to go up. If people are willing to pay scalping prices the vendors see that as missed revenue opportunity. This is the real issue.

Don't give up. I have been trying to get a GPU for more than 5 months. Now, I am 15 minutes away (in the EVGA queue) from the last person that reported the purchase for the 3080 Ti, and I still have hope to get one. You just need to keep trying.

anyone else feel defeated.. i get the que seems like the best option at this rate we all will have searched for cards for so long we could of just gotten a scalped card.. i can imagine some of our hrly wages would easily cover the scalper cost with the time we have put in.
It really does suck my guy. TBH though, I would imagine that there's probably gonna be a massive relief to this shortage by the end of the year. There's no way that demand has so far outpaced TSMC that they literally can't produce enough chips for nearly every industry. I imagine it's a few buyers from them stockpiling chips crazy hard atm (likely auto manufacturers seeing as they've pretty much been the most vocal industry so far, but they aren't even the most affected by it when you look at the numbers). I do hope that supply meets demand in a very swift fashion as to completely screw all the scalpers and miners who bought these inflated cards (much like with hoarders in the pandemic).

its funny some think im a scalper myself. lol i wish someone here actually knew me cause ive been trying to help help get cards. my state we have pretty much no hope or options.. so i will admit i broke down but i didnt buy from a scalper. if i had to spend 3k for the ftw3 ultra gamng 3080 then i decided to buy a abs prebuilt for 3k from new egg. will be here saturday or monday

I signed up on 12/14/20 for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid and received an email for purchase on 6/7/21. I received the GPU on 6/8/21 since I live in SOCAL. I already have a EVGA 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra while I waiting. I also signed up for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra Gaming on 12/6/21 and I am still awaiting notification.

Yup everything about gpus sucks right now. Covid slowing production, crypto, silicon shortage, and scalpers. Wish I could go back in time like 9 months and get a gpu then (when I should have gotten one)

EVGA has done a LOT to earn my trust and respect this year. I challenge you to name a company doing better by it's customers than EVGA.
Honestly, I always kind of mentally equated EVGA with like the Walmart "Great Value" knock off brand, but my eyes have been opened by the actions of other AIB's Zotax in particular with their scalper prices straight out the door. EVGA is now at the top of my list for best, most respected PC component brands.
The real value in EVGA Products are the values that their company stands for. Excellent products at excellent price points.

yeah after seeing the amount of cards dropped for a launch card i have lost all faith in the que. i already got a prebuilt from new egg on the way with guess what lol a 3080ftw3 ultra gaming.. so now im set. if i ever get a notify ill just sell it at this point to make back my loss. it sucks but i can justify spending an extra 1500 to get it but i cant justify waiting another 6 months for hopes they get to me in the que. and i even signed up on the launch days.. when items are moving a couple minutes a week if we are lucky that means its gonna be quite some time till the majority of us get a card. better to just pay scalper at this point.

Considering no gpus were allocated to the eu queue for over 7 months...yeah, other companies are actually better since they're not pretending to care. It will take a few years at this rate for the eu queue to get rolling, by then we'll have bought our cards elsewhere. Good riddance.
