I queued for every single RTX 30 card but since I'm not elite I guess I will never get one unfortunately..

I'm watching eBay scalpers now since that is the only place to actually buy a graphics card. I'd say at least 25% of the 3070Ti FTW drop ended up on eBay. Last one just sold for $1150. Newegg is just as bad. Best case you can get a card with a unusable garbage 700W power supply for over a grand and for the same price on eBay I don't have to throw the unwanted junk in my garbage. eBay is looking more and more reasonable especially for the 3070 Tis. None of the stock drop alerts or discord have popped up anything in a week or more. One even turned into a worse newegg scalper bundle site than newegg is.

Newegg is terrible. All the already expensive 3080 Ti are bundled with $700 monitors or $500 MB. At the end of the day Newegg ends being more expensive than a scalped 3080 Ti on eBay which are around $2k

It's doubtful that I'll be getting a card this cycle either. A lot of the cards are placed way over MSRP anyhow, but then scalpers pump it up 3x that. Unfortunately I'm at the point where I'm better off waiting til they solve their supply chain. We've said it a lot of times in my career, you should never allow a single-point of failure. TSMC is that single point of failure, not by their own doing necessarily, but the world relying on one manufacturer for the most current chips, and not being able to innovate with older tech has lead us here. Hopefully now they'll recognize that and better prepare for realities like this. Most likely not, since most of the manufacturers are absolutely ecstatic that scalpers are allowing them to charge way more than what the tech is worth realistically.

Wrong. Sell the stuff that comes with it.  3060 with a 250 motherboard for 670. MB sells for 150. Get a 3060 for 520. That's half price of scalpers. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Newegg is the best without a doubt.

Only if you can “win” the shuffle lottery in the first place. Which most people can’t. The rate of people winning a shuffle is lower than the rate of getting a card from the EVGA queue IF YOU SIGN UP AT LAUNCH.

And then you have to resell the bundled parts, which no one wants anyway. So you’ll take a loss on it. You won’t be able to resell it for what Newegg charged you.

Hang in there man. Things get better.

This would all end if Nvidia required all AIBs and retailers to ship no more than one card to one physical address. That requirement is put in place all the time for other products.

Here hoping the production will ramp up and we don't have to wait till the end of the year. or worse ...

Queue came through for me. If you're there within the first few hours, you have realistic odds at least.
 
But hey, there's always next gen. That's the point I was at and got lucky with the 3070ti queue. Took 30 minutes but I got into the queue and a week later got a purchase link.
 
If you are really really hunting, your best bet at the moment is either evga queue if you're in within 2-3 hours, or hitting up local best buys. They get stock in store, so just drive to one and see what the staff says. Cards are typically gone within 30 minutes of open though.
On top of that, you can use discord, e.g. nerdspeak, to find when and where drops are happening. Or micro centre if you are near one.
 
It is a **** market for us gamers because of mining and just general demand for silicon overtaking supply, but it's still possible.
 
I'm lucky evga worked out because my closest store is like three hours away lol

It really bums me out. Legit got everything else, it's just this one thing. And it's no small upgrade, either. It's a major step up from my 960m laptop.

LTT on Youtube just released a video saying the 3070Ti Nvidia Founder's release was not an normal release - just released a few test units. Linus said founder's was a head fake by Nvidia by promising a release at a certain price but not actually releasing anything. I'm generalizing, but you can go watch it yourself.
