OK, so I have this case Corsair Crystal Series 680X RGB (more pics here) that I need to draw on. The build is called `Murica, and I want ot draw something American themed that's simple yet amazing. I would be using a projector to trace it, so no need to color it and a paint by numbers type of system, so red 1, blue 2.... white 3, but you probably got that already. I mean, it's only three colors, and the case is already one of them. The area would only be the top exposed white area next to the top glass panel and same with the front. so it's not a huge area. PM me if you got something? Or don't, i'm not your dad.

What type of surface are you doing this on, and how? If your going to try on tempered glass, I’d consider replacing with polycarbonate. Which I’ll be doing myself soon, and

I'm not going to do anything on the glass. I would only be tracing it onto the bare white plastic surfaces to the right of the top and front glass plates. So someone would draw something (just the outline) and i'd use a projector to trace it only the case and paint it with probably model paint?

Not sure how much detail you are looking to add but a few images pictured below would look awesome on that case. I would not attempt the projection idea mainly because the shadow of your hand would block the image. Instead, use an old tried and true approach that I have used in the past. Tape some tracing paper onto the image and trace the outline with a pencil (not to sharp). Then tape the tracing paper onto the case with carbon paper in between and trace it again using a pen so you can see what lines you have not yet traced.
I believe this thread should stay in the gen section until something emerges

I've done projector tracing before so the shadow thing isn't too much of a bother, but it's why I wanted to keep it as simple as possible, like that last one. Also at the same time trying to keep it limited to something custom that was made to fit in the areas I want to draw on (and i don't wanna have people say "Oh you didn't really draw that it's not your original art it wasn't made for you). I like the last one though because i could put the soldier on the front and wrap it around to the side, but that side would never be seen...

Keep in mind i'm NOT grate artiste. If i was I'd put this on the case:

Honestly for custom work man, you are probably going to have to pay something, or its going to be really slow when someone has time and you may not hear from them for awhile. Best thing you can do get a copy of gimp, get a higher end vinyl machine and learn, or pay a lot out of pocket for a custom job. The only way I am doing work for anyone I wont do it less than 200-600hr+at this point, that's how valuable my time is to do my own thing now and not have someone pester me where is my stuff. Not even Microsoft could tempt me enough to be the new Studio Director at 343 last year.
