So I have an EVGA X58 Classified 3. My 3680w runs at 4.6ghz @1.411v. I have 6 sticks at a total of 36gb of ram running at 1630mhz. I have not turned it on in forever now. It just sits in a corsair air 750d in my closet. I can't say that if going more than 4.1 would be worth it or not. I know that in games and such the difference between 4ghz and 4.6ghz was very small. Maybe at best in more CPU demanding games it was 10fps. In applications and benchmarks that use all cores then it was a pretty large increase in performance. So to be honest the two things that you have to get silicon lottery for in CPU are the cores and the memory controller. I have seen more people fail OC due to memory more than the cores on the CPU itself. So, in conclusion, I would say if 4.1 is doing you well with no crashing and you play games most of the time then I would just ride it out till you upgrade in the future. If you have any more questions ill try to answer them for you.
