BFV was hell for me but has been going on before this Win update. CoD4ModernWarfare went to hell this week so I think that's what is causing this mess. I reinstalled CoD4 4+ times now and got rid of PX1 and upgraded my graphics driver. Nothing changed. I will say, since updating my GPU driver and going back to my CPU OC, I don't get these nasty spikes on BF5 as much as I did before. I will be throwing this dumpster fire of a Windows update out the window (pun intended), in hopes it fixes my CoD4 issues, exactly as stated in performance hits. Will updated if this remedies the issue. Edit: Fixed my issue on CoD4! Now if I can get CTRL + ENTER to work again for window mode, that's be great.

Be very careful removing this update! I did it and it reverted my version of Win 10 all the way back to 17763.1 Lost all my other updates as well. MS better fix this issue, and fast

I'm on that OS build on 1809 and still have my recent Win updates, except kb4482887 that I specifically removed. Check under uninstalled updates and see the dates.

Im rather uncertain how any respectable business could proceed with releasing updates that fail when all it would take in this instance is a single hardcore gamer to test out the update. I am certain there is someone that would take on the task without pay for simply being provided a free copy of Win 10 and upgrading their hardware. But then again, isn't that what the group of consumers that have chosen to participate in early access to these updates are for? It almost seems as though they are scornful at all the criticism and are now intentionally trying to upset the market as payback knowing they have a relative monopoly in certain aspects of people's needs in an OS.

After installing KB4482887, users may notice graphics and mouse performance degradation with desktop gaming when playing certain games (eg: Destiny 2).
Microsoft is working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.
As a short-term resolution, players can suck even worse than they usually do. Fixed it.

Yeah i have not engaged this update at all, I am so glad i use linux! And the minute it comes on my system (if it slips by) I think I will just not use it at all until I hear its fixed. I can live without windows, got some emulators in linux land (plus steam for linux does have a windows game compatibility layer, sure it doesnt work with all games but some work pretty well) :D

Odd, in the update history, I see that KB4482887 was installed in February(?!), but going though the control panel, it's not showing up as installed. Running 1809...
I guess it's ok though since I'm not seeing any degradation or mouse issues at all.

I just got hit with it by wanting to play some games.
Friggin windows, uninstalling your worthless update.
On windows pro too, so i could avoid this crap but nooo it came with the cumulative update.
