My guess is they want to make sure the mobo works like it should to avoid another x79 blunder. If i was in evga shoes that is what i would do.

 
If this is true then why not speak up in this thread with a simple. "Hey we found a issue we are working to resolve it" or "issue with dealers/transport/logistics will be delay X time frame". Keep us up to date not in the dark like we are now. It was first "waiting for C2" then it was "waiting for them to arrive from factory" to "releasing the stinger, waiting on classified until september" then absolute silence nothing at all. I'm fine with delays, delays are easy to explain, It's hard to explain to a person who is wanting to build a computer when you have no reason why its delayed. I'm sure I could have him wait but without reason I gave in.

I'm about to pull the plug to replace my old X58 system. On the Evga EU-site there aren't even any pricing up so it seems these boards will hardly come within a reasonable timeframe. I feel it's a shame really as i have been using Evga MoBo's for Close to 10 years now and this time they are not even on the playing-field as all other mfrs boards are on stock everywhere and Evga not so it seems i must buy from Another brand this time around.

I am on the precipice of just buying something else :/ got too many parts just sitting here collecting dust to sit around waiting on a good motherboard...

Would be great to see a review or two show up for the new Z87 boards in the next couple of weeks to give users an idea what to expect out of the new boards before purchase and would generate more interest if they get a great rating from a trusted source. I'm particularly interested in seeing how the Z87 Classified fares compared to the Maximus VI Extreme.

I've been pretty loyal to this company,but  if the ftw doesn't come out buy 10/25 I've gotta go with something else.I'm tired of looking at well over a $1500.00 of parts just sitting there.I really don't want to but it's time I retire my x58 system,just hope I don't run into any trouble with my evga 750 gold power supply I bought last January with a different mb,please evga

I don't see how EVGA can keep the current prices of it's Z87 Classified and FTW motherboards. All of EVGA competitors have lowered their prices or offer more perks. I won't be surprised within a month we see a price drop or a $20-40 rebate.
