To bad that ASUS do too much crap, too big companies make a billion different models at same chipset instead of just making a few for different users

I don't know when ASUS launch and what is inside, I read first few words of some text where they sad Maximus 6 Formula and Impact C2. ASUS send in Serbia to main distributors for testing both M6F and Impact before 2-3 days, close pictures are on forums, but when start selling and what is inside C2 or C1 I didn't read and don't care really.

On their forum you can't talk about EVGA how you want and they have this and that, and their service is fast and response, they recognize you after 2-3 times and you fly through window easy. You can be member with 10.000$ spend on ASUS no matter.
And that politic rule on every forum on the world where their Gold Partners have main word.
Special in little countries with not so famous community in world. I mean not on English.

I see most people such as my self getting RAM that is 2133MHz and higher. The amount you want is up to you, I only need 8GB so that is what I went with. Most go with 16GB just because it fills all the slots.

That's usually story...We have rules in Serbia because of that 10 photos of hardware before RMA became usually thing...
But I totally became crazy when something new show up than how ASUS fans buy something but board have some bugs and he go in service and then try to explain how ASUS hurry to resolve everything ... But we are so little country that is 50 people who are in good relationship with service and gold partners but when some other see problems that is completely different story. But it's not only we whole Balkan is infected and East Europe...now last 1-2 years people from west Europe start to search for EVGA, specialy graphic cards but and mobo to.... Because of that I say need better motherboards because who try Z77 FTW and X79 series ... he run away...
After ROG if someone didn't meet ASUS service only want to try EVGA and cross after ROG on Z77 series and X79 it's very hard to back. That leave so.... so I don't know how to explain... unreliable
experience... Totally you can expect  everything in morning when you boot PC or in middle of game or surf and than start searching for fix until something new show up...

Just picked up my 4770k at Microcenter last week. Awaiting the release of the FTW board myself.

What ram do you guys plan on running? Thats the only other piece part I need personally.

I pick my 4770k at Microcenter this week.  I got the 16Gb (2x8) Corsair 2133 for $10 off as a bundle.  I wanted the 2400 but when Microcenter didn't have it in stock I did some internet shopping.  What I found was that Corsair doesn't offer above 2133 without jumping up the voltage to beyond 1.5V to 1.65V.  Since the IB processors run a standard 1.5 memory voltage, I decided to settle for the 2133.

There are some other brands that offer speeds above 2133 at 1.5V but I've always had good luck with Corsair so I stuck to it this time.  I'll always have the chance to tweak it, once I get it installed on my new Z87 board, which I hope will be available soon.

Didn't know where else to post or ask this but I will be getting a Z87 FTW when ever they come out and will be picking up the same chip a lot of you have purchased the intel 17 4770K .
So my question is this what memory should I get and how much , and what SSD's do you guys recommend I am using one now which is  Force 4 corsair?? but it is damn near full I believe it is a 240gig.
What I'm wanting to do is stripe two 256gig in a raid and re-setup my 256 as a stand alone storage. Is this possible ??
Last question is should I sli my two GTX 660 FTW signature 2 cards or go for a new GTX 700 series??  Any helpful replys will be appreciated. I see a lot of post about the SBcore3D chip on some of the boards but am not interested in that I am using a Razer Megladon 7.1 setup so no issues with sound.

Well if you could spend that much money on RAM, then why not go for 16 gig?

Any update on EVGA Z87 Stinger release date?

Very interested in this as well.  I'm considering doing a Haswell build based around this or the ROG Impact.  Whichever releases first in the states.

I hope this is true - these are the 2 boards I've been waiting to come out. Price will ultimately determine which one I purchase. We know the price of the Stinger, but there's a lot of questions on the ROG's board. Not sure which one will have the features I want without having too many.

I wonder what day of the week they will be released. My "add to cart" finger is itchy!

I know that the Impact is going to be priced at $229 from what Asus has told me.  Also, it is suppose to be ready for purchase mid to late week.

Considering the time that Evga is putting to release its products on the European market, z87 solutions will arrive minimum in October and in this case Asus or Msi will be the choice of many ... hope I am wrong ... what a pity

Yep, officially released on the 14th.  It's supposed to be in stock at my local Microcenter this Friday.

Meanwhile the Stinger is still MIA, with no updates... That makes the decision really easy I guess.

I got on the site just right now and it was down, so my immediate thought the site was updating and the z87 was coming out. Turned out I was wrong and nothing was updated.

Come on EVGA update us, you're going to lose potential buyers if you keep leaving us in the dark.
