the way I see it it should translate from 700$ to aprox 630€ imho but f*** the economy in eu, we're gonna soon use squirrel skins as money anyway. :) and now back to the topic->

Despite all the info Jacob has been able to give us, I was really hoping we would at least get a solid date by now. I've gotta have my new build done by end of August (mainly for FF14) and I have all parts except Stinger and my processor. I know I'm just one man, wanting the same information as every one else, but I'm starting to worry I won't have my build done in time.

If you want it for FFXIV, I would just go Asus, or buy the cheapest board you can get for now and change it out when the EVGA boards arrive. Like you I wanted it for FFXIV, but after all the waiting I decided to just get another board.

Right now we are focused on the quality, so no exact ETA yet, but it will be sometime in July.

I had no issues with my Gene V. I actually haven't had any issues with any of my motherboards over the years - MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS. I've only used an eVGA motherboard once, and it was for x58 - worked well enough.

It seems we are talking about different things. I meant ASUS motherboard (P7H57D-V EVO for example) have some issues with overclocking of Clarkdale. Yes, it works perfect at default clocks, but I need more. So, I think EVGA will not disappoint me here.

EVGA needs to tell us what the status is. Did they got the c2 stepping now or not? Are they still hunting down bugs?
I would like to know what i am waiting for.

To delay it just because of the c2 stepping problem is just ridiculous since it is a bug that is less then a trifle and a lot of test pages have repeatedly tried to provoke the bug in their test lab, but without success...but sure, at least EVGA could inform WHY it's delayed instead of just shut up, I like EVGA, but I don't like ignorance like this and if they want customers left information is the key, Haswell has been out for a while and ppl wants to build their new systems and as long EVGA shut up they loose customers every day, but if they said anything of what is going on, people maybe could had some patience left and wait

Patience is a virtue as they say and EVGA products are worth that patience. During a call to EVGA Sales on Friday Aug. 2 they stated the release being 1-2 weeks out. EVGA loyal customers will wait and get an outstanding product for their wait.

Wish these existed. My asus hero board would fail immediately with prime95. Would buy evga but with zero news or a reliable release date I had to order another asus

I like JJ, was this on their ROG forums? I tried skimming through there yesterday but couldn't find anything solid. I'm hoping next week will be the week so I can place my order for the Stinger - hoping my "auto-notify" will shoot me an email next week!
