pclausenJust got my notification and purchased! So it would seem that they are all caught up now. That said, the product page still has the Auto Notify button and not Add to Chart.
Wolf_mafiAI missed my notify (7/15 signed up) unfortunately. Anyways I was debating for Z590 DARK + 10900K or AMD platform with Crosshair VIII Dark Hero or EVGA X570 DARK so hopefully someone else got it. That said I got the GPU finally after a whole year of wait with an nvidia FE card. Will be soon going to make a decision. Hopefully EVGA makes this board available to all soon.
Apollo1321 But anyone else having trouble with the downloads page only showing the latest bios? I can't seem to get it to show the drivers or any other bios versions.
frankd3Apollo1321 But anyone else having trouble with the downloads page only showing the latest bios? I can't seem to get it to show the drivers or any other bios versions.Just checked. Same thing. It only gives you the latest bios. And you can't uncheck "Latest."
pclausenWhy would you NOT want the latest BIOS?
gorman01Is the Z590 Dark even worth getting if your not into heavy overclocking? Like as in.....is it good for a powerful editing pc build in a case?
babayegagorman01Is the Z590 Dark even worth getting if your not into heavy overclocking? Like as in.....is it good for a powerful editing pc build in a case?11th gen or 10th gen isnt designed for editing in mind. z590 dark is designed for heavy samsung bdie dr/sr overclocking and to push the cpu to its limit either on cold or ambient.
gorman01Thanks for the reply. I totally understand how more cores are beneficial in editing video, but not as much as they were in the past. The newer editing software is leaning more and more towards gpu power (as it should), so core counts aren't as critical. I also just personally prefer intel over amd (even though amd usually uses more cores). I havent purchased ram yet, and was waiting to see which ram worked best with this board. As far as mastering overclocking.....that's definitely not my goal, I just want a killer bulletproof system that will shred whatever I throw at it without breaking a sweat! I want a PC that will remain cool and fast when I walk away while a video transcodes or renders for 3-4 hours.
gorman01Thanks ! I was definitely planning to build my pc with more than adequate cooling (I posted above). 3090 kingpin with copper cooling and a large water loop in a lian li dynamic xl case. Liquid cooling with plenty of fans as well!
