Hi All, I got a EVGA Z490 FTW last weekend (extremely rare and hard to find in Australia) and fitted it with an 11900K.

I installed every thing that was on the supplied USB, but I still have 'base system device' showing up in device manager, does anyone know what it is?

I also noticed mine was shipped with the infamous dodgy WiFi/Bluetooth card in the M.2 slot that's under the IO shield heatsink....disabling the M.2 slot 3 in the BIOS sorted the other ! error I had in device manager, but this one still remains.

Any ideas?

Either install the wifi/bluetooth driver or right click in device manager on that base system device and disable it. One or the other should end that for you. Heres the link to all the downloads for your mobo: https://www.evga.com/support/download/  Its either that wifi/bluetooth driver or the Serial I/O driver they have listed. You did install your chipset drivers right?

Hey wmmills, everything is installed from the USB, everything, that's what I don't understand, it is a clean W10 install, and then everything from the supplied USB, it was only after all that, that I then I disabled the "M.2 - 3" WIFI/Bluetooth card (thinking that it was the problem when it only got rid of 1 of the problems in device manager)
