Z390 FTW hangs at 21% (10% overall completion) in the extended Windows memory diagnostic for >24 hours (I gave up).  I have other PCs that have completed this test, usually taking 4-8 hours.  At this time, there are no other issues with my system.  I am using XMP1 setting for memory, but otherwise F5 Bios settings.  No overclocking of either CPU or GPU.

Major components of my current system are as follows:
EVGA Z390 FTW
Intel i9-9900k
Corsair 4x8GB CMT32GX4M4C3200C16
EVGA GTX2070
Samsung M.2 Evo970 plus 1TB
Antec HCP850 platinum PSU
Windows 10 Pro

Does anyone else have this issue?  Any suggestions on troubleshooting?

Try One Memory Stick at a Time.
Not listed here https://www.evga.com/support/motherboard/ but this does not mean it will not work.

Load optimized defaults inside the bios, and try again without enabling xmp.

Maybe not a wise choice on this Motherboard, Settings the CPU and Memory to Auto would work best if the Bios is setup correctly for Windows 10.
Setting the Default or Optimized Settings can cause the Motherboard to no longer boot from the M.2 Drive as well as causing other Windows 10 Issues.

I apologize for the long delay in responding.  It turns out the issue was an ID10T error.  When using windows memory diagnostic in 'extended' mode you must turn 'on' the cache for all the tests to complete, otherwise it hangs.  I have no idea why there is a default setting for a binary switch in WMD.  If I were programming WMD the default should be 'on' without a default option.
