shogon, your stable test speed has been updated in the club list. Nice job.

Thank you very much kram! I'm happy to finally reach my goal of breaking past 4.4!

I will either find a way, or make one.

Kram are you interested in doing a version of this thread for OCing the imminent X79 chipset CPUs?
Will you be upgrading your rig to X79 soon?

Main (gaming) rig: i7-3930K; Asus Rampage IV Extreme; H100 W/p-p Excaliburs, AS5; MSI 7870 2GD5/OC; Crucial M4 SSD 256GB.
See my primary ModsRigs: Adam for the rest, and I have a second (wife's) rig Asus Rampage III Extreme & 960: Eve.

Overclocking is useless to me if it is not rock stable.

j33pownr, welcome to the club.

HalloweenWeed, I do plan on going X79, but it will be awhile before I do. Going to let the prices settle down and see what options in motherboards and cpu's come up. As for doing a stability club for X79, I'll probably pass on that.

Any other takers? I cannot be reliable enough over the long run to do this, I get very busy sometimes for months at a time. I would like to register my OC when I do so, in a couple of months from now. Consider it for a while guys.

Main (gaming) rig: i7-3930K; Asus Rampage IV Extreme; H100 W/p-p Excaliburs, AS5; MSI 7870 2GD5/OC; Crucial M4 SSD 256GB.

Hmm, I just noticed that my core0 turbo multi is 26 (960), says so in E-leet (OC tab - Turbo control) too (Intel site confirms this).
But when I OC, both CPU-Z and E-Leet report only x25 on the CPU (cover) tab, and the speed calculation is done from that.
RealTemp does the same.
It makes a big difference, my OC is 4.32 W/x25, but theoretically my core0 is running at 4.5GHz.
I went back through the last dozen pages of this thread, and noticed all 960s were reported at x25 (or lower when they had lower multi set). What are you guy's thoughts about this?

RBethune, your GFlop speed it too slow for your cpu. Please read the first page in this thread and use the LinX download from that page. You will not be added to the club list with that low of a GFlop speed.

Finally got it, was waiting for the inevitable BSOD at Pass 18 or 19, but a little bump in VCore was all it needed

I'll update this tonight. In the mean time I want to remind people to please post your results in this format.

Forum Name <---- THIS IS IMPORTANT. DO NOT FORGET THIS.
Core i7 (whichever you have)   Batch #: (not required, but would be nice to include)
CPU clocked at:
Voltage:
Idle temps: (please provide this in celsius)
Load temps: (please provide this in celsius)
GFlop peak: (used for any clock speed ties, higher gflops wins)

It makes things easier for me as I can just copy and paste your results into the member's list.

Thanks.

Some nice results there guys. I gave up on this as far a Gflops go.  I could probably get it, but I crunch with the 980X. For me the work that I am doing is more important than a stability club.  My rig needs to run 24/7. Which it does and I am happy with the results.

Yo kram,

Just for kicks, could I re-run the test, and you re-evaluate my score and such that you posted in the OP?

I got a new x58 board, and now getting 60 GFlops (Instead of like 53), and a better, more cool OC.

Thanks man!

I just see that the highest Bloomfield club member has 58GFlops, so I wanna show everyone up.

Awesome!

Gonna tweak my rig abit more, and then I will post up all my info again

I hope it will still get 60 GFlops to show up them other Bloomfield users.
