I recently did a complete clean install of windows 11. I have the X299 dark board and the core i9-10940x with 64 GB of RAM.

Everything is working fine, however when I went to device manager I noticed that Base system device, Performance Counters and System Interrupt Controller are showing up under other devices as not having the drivers installed.

I have made sure to install every driver I can possibly think of. I have no idea what this is, or if this is some windows 11 issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a chipset driver issue. If you’re running the latest chipset drivers try a slightly older version to see if that will help fix the issue. If you’re running older chipset drivers try the very latest first before trying older ones.

Ok, it was the chipset. However it was weird what happened. The chipset drivers were installed, but for some reason it didn't install all of them? No idea on that. I had to manually tell device manager where to look for the drivers. Once I did that it found them all. Was very tedious but they are all installed now.

As always thanks for the help! Now hopefully this chipset shortage gets over soon and Intel comes out with new HEDT chips for X699!
