An annoying problem I've had for quite a while with the X1 software is that the window can't be resized, nor will it let me drag it up higher to access the "load, apply" buttons. I have to hide the Windows taskbar to access it. I have to do this because on a separate note, the X1 does not automatically load my presets, despite the setting for it being turn on. I'm currently running the Steam version, but I have tried the standalone with same results. Are there any known fixes to this? Thanks for any help. I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like, that's as high as it goes.

I'll just go ahead and assume you have Version 1.0.3.0 which is the latest. I would uninstall that version and select "Yes" at the "Do you want to remove Precision X1 setting files ?" prompt..Then install the Standalone Version 1.0.2.0 found here at the bottom of the page. Right-click on the installer and select "Run as adminisrtator" and do it that way. Roll from there. No, Precision can't be resized but you should be able to drag it anywhere you want to..Can't see your screenshot, by the way.

What resolution are you using? Sounds like you just need to increase your resolution.

Correct, I did have the latest version, and my resolution is at 1080p, the highest my monitor can go. I've uninstalled the Steam version, made sure to delete any old files related to it, and rolled back to 1.0.2.0 standalone. While the older version is better at loading, it still doesn't allow proper movement. When it first starts, it's positioned just high enough to click the top of the buttons. If I try to drag it though, it'll snap down where I have to hide the taskbar again, behaving the exact same way. Would rolling back further help? I don't remember not having this particular problem. Sorry about the screenshot, here it is on OneDrive: Edit: Apparently links and posted images don't show.

You could try enabling dsr factors inside the nvidia control panel that way you could use a higher resolution on the desktop. Another solution would be to set your scaling back to 100%.

That almost sounds like some kinda "Windows thing" and not a "Precision thing"..Maybe like Snap or Aero or Ease of Access, I dunno..I searched around and tried some different things to try and duplicate it, but, nothing. Uninstall PX1 using Revo Uninstaller (Free) in Advanced Mode, click "Yes" at the "Do you want to remove Precision X1 setting files ?" prompt, same as before..Then, delete only the registry entries shown in bolt text (that's critical) in Revo..Then, any leftover files/folders..Restart your PC. Grab the latest NVIDIA Graphics Driver (the Standard Driver, not the DCH Driver) and Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU)..Then, uninstall your Graphics Driver and all the optional driver components in Windows Safe Mode with DDU using the Clean and restart option..Then, after your PC restarts, install only the Graphics Driver and PhysX, for now..Then install PX1 Version 1.0.2.0 again. If you have any games "Optimized" with GeForce Experience, I would "Revert" them before doing all that. You can't post links until you have 10+ forum posts, but you can put a space between the https:// part and the rest of the URL (the short link in OneDrive) to make it show up, we can take out the space to see it. Be sure to read the Ultimate Self-Starter Thread For New Members sometime if you haven't yet. Your OneDrive Pic Good luck.

I messed around with the resolution settings and scaling (currently at 150%, my monitor is a big screen TV), and apparently it is a scaling issue with Windows. I'll try to mess with some compatibility settings to see if I can isolate scaling changes to it, but it doesn't seem to be an issue with PX1 itself. Thanks for the help.

This is dumb. X1 should have a resize ability built in... This is why I prefer MSI Afterburner. Unfortunately I lose the ability to control my led with afterburner...
