received my prebuilt pc with the evga 3070 ftw3 last week and gpu was artifacting on start up with green lines. tested to make sure it was gpu and it was. when i inspected the card I noticed a dent on the top metal plate as seen in the picture. got ahold of evga day later my RMA was approved for the defecting issue and now i can send it. read evga warrenty void about sending damaged items and have tried to research if someone dealt with the same thing and couldn't find anything. I hope this would not be an issue when i send it in.

I think that would definitely void the warranty.

the dent is on the very edge and does not run all the way through.

I would like to say no as the backplate is meant to protect the card from damage. Gonna have to check with evga on this one.

    Hi There,

We will inspect the product once it arrives.  If it something we can easily remedy then we will be able to work with you to cover under warranty.  If it requires parts to be changed, then we will need to assess a repair fee for the parts.  However if the dent has damaged the PCB then warranty would be voided.

I hope that helps to clarify.
