UPS lost my 3080 FTW Step Up

Hello,

It appears UPS lost my step up return. I've filed a claim and started an investigation with them. As this was a step up, I have no GPU and my computer is a brick. If the package does end up lost, will EVGA send me a new one? I waited 8 months to get my card and now I don't have anything and I'm afraid even with the refund I won't be able to get a card any time soon.

(edit: to be clear, this is the card EVGA is returning to me after they received mine, not my original card I sent in)

    Not sure if you have to wait on UPS to refund EVGA before they can send you another card ? , ... or vice-versa

    I would hope they take responsibility.  The customer is liable for the shipping risk to EVGA (rightly so; EVGA has no control over us shipping to them) I can't see how EVGA would justify the customer being liable for the shipment risk from EVGA when we have no control over their shipping to us.

    They would need to file a claim with UPS before they can just send you a new card I'm pretty sure. UPS needs to launch an investigation into where or what happened to your original card to determine it's fate. This process is the same if they had lost the card you had sent in to EVGA. After the UPS investigation and claim is settled with UPS is probably when you'll get a replacement/refund.

    At the moment, it appears that your Step-Up is in transit to you.  From our location in California to your State, it usually takes 4 business days via UPS ground.  As well, there appears to have been a address change requested on the shipment which normally adds 1 business day extra for UPS.  Please reach out to our CS team if not delivered by this coming Tuesday.
