Hi there,
so where do you get the actual latest official Intel X299 Chipset driver?
EVGA does just offer an older version in the driver section of the evga.com site. Although it is labeled as 10.1.8.6 in the download section it is actually (if you check the intel installer .exe) Version
10.1.18121.8164For reference I checked another X299 Mainboard with the ASUS Rampage VI Extreme Encore - they do offer a newer Version of the X299 driver - Version
10.1.18295.8201 If you try to find the latest X299 drivers on Intels own homepage you just get to this site:
Chipsatz-INF-Utility (intel.de)The File right there has a timestamp of 6/30/2021 but unfortunately it is NOT an x299 chipset driver. Intels Website is just horrendous! Should be Version
10.1.18793.8276 but if you have a fresh windows install and try to use this installer, there are many unknown devices afterwards in the device manager.
So, which version are you using, where are you getting it from, and what is actually the latest working X299 Chipset Driver?
Cheers
