Haven't seen any any mention of these dogs here yet. No bonus estimated. It's a different work unit than ipkha posted about. I'm lucky enough to have 2 of these running now.

Most all the current Core 21 take from 5 to 6 hours to complete at the start but seem to complete in 4 to 5 Hours.
And really Crappy Points to really make it one of the worst WU ever.
Going on 10 Days 24 Hours a Day running a Single GTX 1080 Ti
A Crappy Core 21 WU to run for the New Points Needed now for the Bucks for sure.

https://apps.foldingathome.org/psummary

CPU WUs (27) are now higher in number of WU then GPU WUs (13) now.
The total number of WU are really down from Last year and even the few years before.
Folding is not as big as an effort as it was 3 or 4 years ago before (Missing Word) stated to take over IMO.

I have the same issue, the FAHClient only shows base points and I've currently running two P14180 WUs (which will finish in about 2 hours).

I've just found some info on the Folding Forum about a change in the FAH API that is discontinuing the diplay of the k-factor.
It was posted in the "HFM.NET monitoring application" thread by toTOW and I think it's also affecting the FAHClient PPD calculation.
I still use the older FAHClient version 7.4.4, so I don't know if the newer version 7.5.1 also could have this problem?

See this post in the HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7 thread.

HFM PPD computation are going to be broken in the next psummary updates : there has been a change in FAH API that is discontinuing the display of k-factor. All projects will use the same value which will be hardcoded and no longer published in project summary API.

The current symptom is that HFM will see a 0 for k-factor and will disable QRB for these projects, showing PPD based only on base point.

I've also got the usual full credit (with QRB points) for both P14180 WUs.
So we need a new version of FAHClient and HFM.NET to fix this PPD calculation issue with the change they made in the FAH API.

I have a P14179 WU running now which also shows only the base points. This project comes also from Work Server 155.247.166.220, so I think all projects from this server will only show base points PPD now (GPU Core21 Projects 14178-14181 and 14184-14187).

Those aren't long, I just did a Gimps primegrid 100 million digit task that took just over 107 days crunching 24/7.
i5-8600k hexcore 4.3ghz. It was not prime . If it were prime, the prize money would be nice, 50Gs. Has to be split though.
I do not think I will crunch another one of those anytime soon. Maybe over the Winter into theI'llSpring I do another one.

107 days

What helps More - Core Count - or - MHz ?

50 G prize $$$$$$

So GPUs are not able to do that kind of work ?

Now where did I put that Tesseract ?

I would say core count + mhz + memory speed. It used 6 cores on the one task, multithread.
Not sure what the max number of cores it can use at once is. Or point where it would not help adding more cores.
The 100m tasks are huge and can not fit in the CPUs cache, so fast memory would help a lot.
On smaller tasks I have done that did not fit in the cache, going from DDR4 3000 to 3700 made a difference.
I guess the GPU can't do these calculations on that type of work
The 50G gets spilt between Gimps and the finder. Maybe the double checker too, I am not sure on that.

Correction, it is Gimps prime95 not Gimps primegrid. The work they both do is very similar

The stats have been messed up across the board on everything for us tonight.  Cores 21 & 7 point estimates have been problematic on my install for the last 2 days.  Hope it gets fixed soon; I'm trying to benchmark a new system...
